  1. If you find out you've got a good port job, I'd stick with the 35mm...maybe 33mm. If you're ported I really wouldn't drop down to the 2 into 1. I've got the 2 into 1 now w/ a 34 mm PJ. If you don't have a port job and don't plan on getting one any time soon, I'd definately look into the 2 into 1. My top end is in Eric Gorr's hands as we speak...and I'm debating on going back to two carbs. Don't get me wrong...I love my 2 into 1, it's easy as hell to tune, and the thumb throttle isn't so damn stiff. But I don't want to sacrifice performance to save me a couple minutes jetting.
  2. I've had my magura clutch lever for about 2 years now. I took my right side carb off to reach everything a little easier (you could take the left off, too, I was just being lazy) I've got T-5's and was also worried about burning the line. I took the spring/guard off of one of the stock cables (throttle or clutch) and put in on the hydraulic line. I also ran the line on the inside of the coolant tube that runs staight down to the clutch cover. Sounds confusing, but just take a look at your bike. Just don't like the plastic line hit your pipes. Or you can go buy the SS line for an extra $50 and just slap the lever w/out worrying about it!
  3. LMFAO! I did that same fukkin' thing in Cedar Rapids, IA last year. But my front end caught. Completely smashed my bumper, and smacked my thighs on my bars....man that hurt.
  4. I guess you can't beat that deal if they were free. But I personally would keep the tires for "off-track" riding. Get some Kenda Klaws or another type of MX tire so you'll hook up on the track.
  5. I'll agree with that. I also have no complaints with my -2. The front end is definately easier to pull up, but its still controllable.
  6. Quicksand +2+1 a- arms and a -2 swinger w/TCS Zero preload duals w/rezzies front and back . I love 'em. I had works triple rate with the stock a-arms and even though they were a helluva a lot better than stock...they don't compare to the TCS. The only regret I have now is that I tried to go cheap w/Works when I should have just done it right the first time.
  7. I'm still on stock pistons, rings and bore. 'Shee had 135 to 140 lbs. of compression when I checked it about two months ago. But I'll probably put at least new rings and pistons in when I get it ported, hopefully within the next month!
  8. I would have to agree about the mittens. But I just got a new set of winter gloves from Menards that are friqqin' awesome! A buddy of mine was riding with them when we were on a frozen lake and said he loves 'em, so that night I went and got myself a pair for $5!! Last year I had a set of deerskin-wool mittens, but I hated the feel of the bars. I also wore really thick leather gloves...but they were so thick I'd get bad arm-pump. To be honest, I've only been through 4 or 5 winters on a quad but these $5 gloves are BY FAR the best pair of gloves I've tried.
  9. New? He signed up two months after you?
  10. Damn meat, that's clean as hell....kind of matches the R!
  11. Definately doesn't look like my LSR axle.
  12. I personally love the look of the fullbores and also plan on going with black...just need the money. I'm not sure if they're the cheapest but take a look at Rocky Mountain.....CLICK HERE
  13. I heard them say that, too. I was trying to picture jr. flipping it over.
  14. What do you mean by loosening? Just like brakes on a car...you've got to take the cap off of the brake res. and push the slave cylinder back in, they should fit after you do that.
  15. It all depends on what type of riding you do..but for recreational riding anywher from -1 to -3 degrees is average for camber. Here's a good site you might want to take a look at before you mess with anything.....LSR
  16. never heard of that....then how do you check your compression if you've got a port job?
  17. "What can I do to make this thing as gay as possible?"
  18. I'd go with the arms. I think you'll see the most differences w/ the a-arms because you already have the shocks set up for them. I actually bought my Noss head before my a-arms and even though I love the Nossl head, if I had to do it all over again..I would buy a-arms first.
  19. Not too sure if they'll work. But I think you'lll want to have them valved for the springs you put on there.
  20. yeah, like bdbanshee said, they'll definately work, plenty long. But I'd eventually plan on getting SS lines...they feel MUCH better, and look better too.
  21. I'd go with the adjustable timing plate, I've heard of people breaking the degree keys.
  22. That's a different way to discribe it. To be honest, I haven't heard any bad things about lightening your flywheel. Better throttle repsonse and revs quicker. Easily worth the money. (If you need any more info., doing a search would be a good idea)
  23. Take a look ------->LSR
  24. I thought it was pretty damn funny!
