  1. Not a bad deal...and they look brand new Quicksand A-arms
  2. Damn! I didn't even see this post. DEFINATELY interested in the rear shock. Got any pics? You take paypal?
  3. Put me on the Simple Green list!
  4. yeah, it's 20 ft. lbs. banshdog is right about the stages. I tightened my 10 then 20. And don't forget the pattern when tightening them. This is where I pullled out the good ol' Cymer's manual.
  5. If you have a mid-size truck (S-10, ranger, etc.), you're screwed. I've got a 2wd S-10 and there is no way in hell I can get it in the back of the truck. It's nice that the bed is so low to the ground, but once the front tires hit the wheel wells (sp?), they want to turn one way or another. The best solution I've come up w/ is have someone get in the truck and lift the front end over them while you lift the back end up. Someday i'll get myself a 2500 Cummins and I won't have to deal with this BS....
  6. Hipers all the way!
  7. I'm running one w/a 34 mm PJ. If you plan on porting anytime soon, I would stay away from them. But much easier to jet than the duals. The only way I go back to duals is if I HAVE to for porting. I really like the power curve for my type of riding. It makes the power band come on quite a bit smoother than the stockers.
  8. Yeah...this thing sounds pretty damn sweet. I want some pics!
  9. The Dura Blue will be stronger than stock. And if you do jumping...I personally recommend the axle over spacers. Right now I've got an axcalibur LS axle and couldn't be happier. I've heard people bending every Durablue axle they've owned, but I've also got a buddy who bent an LS axle too. Either way....I wanna see pics of your bike w/the hipers!!
  10. Here's my Armadillo bumper. I loved it when I got it, but the thing is soooo damn light it doesn't take a very good beating (as you can see). To tell ya the truth, I don't know what that dent is from? I wouldn't recommend them unless you're just riding in sand. When I buy a new one, it'll either be an IMS , or the Bling Star that resembles the IMS.
  11. You can buy them....or have you stocker cut. Obviously cutting it is going to be cheaper. The roundhouse bearing carrier is changer your rear end to a "honda-style" rear end, which is VERY slick. Changing to roundhouse makes tightening your chain A LOT easier. So in other words...roundhouse kicks ass compared to stock!
  12. I had mine cut by Gary @ Quicksand. Did an awesome job, easily worth the money. The one thing I don't have...like these guys have been talking about is the round house bearing carrier. I've put my swinger through hell and I still love it.
  13. I'm pretty sure they will, but I'm not too sure if you're going to be happy w/ the performance. I wanna say Banshee shock mounts are a tad bigger, so you'll probably need spacers/washers.
  14. If you've got the money for the axle also....go for it. It handles MUCH easier w/everything wider. But you'll still notice a difference with just the +2 a-arms.
  15. You sound like a test-rider for Dirtwheels. What makes you think nobody here knows what they're talking about? Because they don't have the same opinion you do? Take a chill pill....these are opinions .
  16. Ray, I sent you some pictures that I just ran out to the garage and took. Let me know if you need pics of something else. Just be careful not to bend the rod that comes out of the slave cylinder when installing everything. Did you get the plastic lines or the stainless steel?
  17. I agree.....Coolhead. I have both now and I felt more of a difference with the coolhead.
  18. If you search about a boost bottle you won't find too many people saying good things about them. I bought my quad with one on it....and I don't think it really hurts performance so I'm leaving it on. I've actually heard of some people taking it off after they bought one to replace it with the stock balance tube. So in other words.....they're worthless. I'd save the $30.00 and put it towards something else.
  19. No prob. Which pipes felt the best to you out of the three you tried?
  20. Is your mild port considered a dune port? How much top end did you lose switching pipes? For some reason I think I'd like the PCs on the track a little better than the t-5's.
  21. I've got T-5's now and plan on getting some type of trail/MX porting done sometime soon. But I keep reading that PCs are more of an all around pipe than T5s. But will the PCs respond to the porting as well as the Toomeys?
  22. Sounds pretty stupid to me . Someone needs to give them a ride on a 'shee!
  23. I agree. I'd take a black rear set with black fullbore fronts!
  24. A bike is much more capable of handling a supercross track compared to a quad. If all you think you'll ever want to ride is a dirtbike on tracks....then I'd say go for it.
