Any Lawyers In The House?
Fireman-hott replied to Fireman-hott's topic in General Banshee Discussion
99% of cops you run into as long as they know it was you that they pulled over on it will not have a problem releasing it to you. Bt ya better have something to prove its yours incase you run into the 1% I did. The fine is $60. -
Any Lawyers In The House?

The cops dont have thier own impound lot here, it is a third party lot. I didn't get pissed till the third or fourth time. LIke I said earlier I've called the guy that owns the lot a couple dozen times from work to pickup wrecks and whatnot out there. So I had no problem with the guy or anything of that nature. I stopped for him. Turns out according to the cop friend that got it cleared, a bunch of them had run from him back there. Well I can see why though, one cop in th emiddle of sand and 6-7 people(his estimate) on quads. So he thought I was one of them and just wanted to be a dick and a dick he was. Fireifghter special treatment? Yeah I do expect something from the police helping me out once in awhile. One day your gonna need an ambulance and if you f*ck me like he did you better hope to god I'm not on it. Yeah not only am I a Fireman, Im an EMT, Hazmat technician, confined space rescue certified, gas rescue certified, rope recue certified, I can operate a crane capable of carrying a 175 ton ladle or molten steel, incase the operator drops and I have to walk this plank thats maybe 1/2-3/4 the width of your average front door and is easily 100ft up. I've fought fires with some people on that cities department, knew the fire chief, and have trained with them on occasion. If you were a cop and pulled over an ER nurse doing 10mph over the limit, Would you let her off with a warning? I would because someday I may need her to set a bone in my body after wrecking the banshee, seeing as how I'll leave the blaster to the fiancee. Oh and I dont need the hero thing. I dont do it for the recognition I do it because I love the job and I wouldn't have it any other way. Its only 3 blocks straight down the road for me to get back there. Not like I was riding 2 miles on main roads. -
Yeah and a stream of salt water will burn a hole right through you. Seen it a few times, they only use huge ass cutting tips at the mill though.

For one erbilabuc, I resent that you think I"m a fucking thief. For two the guys been welding and fabricating shit for over 30 years. For Three I showed them the material passes, and receipt for the piping and motor respectively. For Four the guy did it as a side project in the winter for me, I built and work on his computer for free and help him anytime he has a problem. For Five I had 3 cop friends talk to him and he told all three he didn't know why he was being a pain like this, he just felt like it. For Six it took me going to a detective from another city that I used to voley firefight for to go with me and speak with thier chief who bypassed the cop and released it and was gonna talk to the officer about his behavior toword a fireman of all people. For Seven come Monday I'll get my vin check and title request in. -

How the f*ck can they refuse to do a vin check. The buddy is out of town the whole week. Went up there requested it, and they told me without a bill of sale they will not do it. Well technically the cop told them not to do it without the bill of sale. Now wtf do I do. And its not stolen guys dont worry. I'm a fireman and this is how the cops are treating me? Un-Fucking-Believable. -

Storage fees, not a problem. People that towed it have a contract with us at the mill for wrecks, overturned trucks, shit like that so the guy is not gonna charge me any storage fees, just $25. BUT I have to get the tow reciept. My parents neighbor didn't build it but is a damn good welder, what if he went in and said he fabbed it up for me. Hmm My dads buddy is a cop wonder if he will fill out one of those forms for me. -
My blaster was recently towed because I was riding on the road. No biggie I fucked up I'll pay the ticket, I went to get it out of impound, the station will not release the quad because there is no vin on it, the frame was made for me, so techinically there is no vin, how do I go about getting it out, they wll not accept that nor will they accept the reciept of the fucking motor I bought for it.

Fireman-hott replied to stealthawd's topic in General Banshee Discussion
You ever notice how no matter how fast somoene was going on the highay if the crash is bad they are fucked up, wether they did 55 or 95. If it wasn't ment to go that fast then they wouldn't have made it to go that fast. -
How much does alky run in comparison to gas. and how much in the way of horses and gas consumption is the difference.

Watched A Cop Hit A Family In A Car At 100 Mph

Broke - Here if you wont listen to any of the other people listen to what I have to say. I drove a fire engine on a voly (thats Fire Dept. slang for a Volunteer Fire Dept.) for over a year. I can think of at least a dozen times when I've come to an intersection doing LESS THAN 5MPH FOR THIS VERY FUCKING REASON, and some son of a bitch runs the light right in front of me damn near clipping me. You can't sit there and fucking tell me this guy didn't see a big ass 1975 La France with lights and sirens blazing. Broke - You talk about cause and effect in one of your posts. Cause - Cops dont chase anymore. Effect - Everyone runs because they know the cops wont chase. Idiots like you that are making insurance rates spike and paralyzing our emergency services ability to perform thier duty. Dont pull over a black guy or you are racist, dont check a female before putting her in you cop car or your fondaling her and face a sexual assualt lawsuit. 70mph is an obscence speed? Please I do 80-90mph on the highway without a second thought. I've gotten a fire engine up to 60mph on a main road that is classified as a residential road. You know why? Me either its called adrenalin, when its pumping you can't move fast enough, Takes alot to keep from flooring the car. Cause - Robber runs from police Effect - Lady gets hit Who will pay ultimately? The officer, and you wonder why people dont want to be cops anymore. You want anymore clarification feel free to reply, I'll be more than happy to explain every one of the dozen that I can remember right now. Even ones of people I work with, how about the time we came within 5 feet of getting hit in the ambulance, I was in the back tending to the patient, do you know what would have happened had we got hit? Yeah I'd have been fucked because some stupid son of a bitch wasn't paying close enough attention. In closing f*ck YOU AND YOU DUMBASS FUCKING VIEWS, YOU HAVE NO FUCKING CLUE WHAT ITS LIKE YOU PIECE OF SHIT. -
Bump. Anyone else? I'm really wanting aftermarket shocks.

Legal To Ride Atv On Roads In Indiana
Fireman-hott replied to mrmatt's topic in Riding and Events Forum
But of course. You know they wouldn't let us up in Northwest Indiana ride on the roads. We are a "chicago suburb" Anyway me and some friends are looking into going to Attica this coming weekend. -
Well if you dont get enough pre-orders, Put my pre-payment toword a second roostfest. XL and L.

Looks good to me. I have a question those guys, mines loading up at Idle and has a tad bogggg sound. Yet it will still spit sand nicely when its like that. I can get it to do it continuously in like 2nd 3rd. Sounds like Chong in up in smoke when cheech eats all the acid. Booohoooo hoo hooo I've never seen anyone eat that much acid before.

Industrial Firefighting. To be more specific I basically am trained in and provide services for anything you would dial 911 for. Fires,EMS,Hazmat,Confined space,Gas rescues. Its dangerous but someones gotta do it. Oh and not all of us firemen are fat. some of us care enough to keep in shape.
-
How are the Ohlins, to be honest I've never ridden anything with those I dont think. Shellby I have a noss head and xtreme haulers already. I know anything aftermarket shock wise is better. Yeah I planned on the own shipping.
-
I have the complete sleeve set with pistons, rings, clips for making your cylinders 409s. Its an LA Sleeve kit. sleeves and pistons and everything is still in the original packing. Have a kid on the way, dont have the money to get my cylinders resleeved, ok well I do have the money but she wouldn't be happy and I do still need to get some some snatch or I'll go insane. Anyway either $400 shipped or I'd like a trade for some aftermarket front shocks. Preferably setup for 170-190lb rider and trails/mx. Oh and setup for stock a-arms. Let me know.

How about the piece with the cotter pin that holds the rear brake petal on? I lost it and have yet to understand how.
-
Any idea what it would run tohave all 3 revalved and resprung to zero preload?
-
Got1 did you have a pattern you used for that, or was that purely hand drawn? I'm tempted to do that being a fireman and all ya know I love flames, like the structure fire i was on last night, 2 hours on the end of a hose worked my ass off.

All Of A Sudden... No Clutch?
Fireman-hott replied to Sheeboy12's topic in General Banshee Discussion
I lost my clutch too, couldn't get the quad to stop rolling no matter what gear I was in. Turned out to be that washer had worked its tab out enough. That and the adjusted in the middle of the plate had worked out a little bit.
