  1. Sounds like you are on the right track. Doing the compression test is where I'd start They are not that expensive and you can pick up a tester at almost any auto parts store. Let us know how the results turn out
  2. I think we should all put Jeff's bike in our sigs; then we'd be cool
  3. I used the stock gaskets with mine, no leaks so far
  4. I know Big Blue had a set of haulers he was selling in good shape, don't know if he still has them or not though.
  5. Win or lose, sounds like fun!
  6. Just called my chromer, they can do it, but they can't guarantee it'll be done in time for the LS trip I tried!!!
  7. Happy Birthday Stan!!!!
  8. Nope!! Although my builder told me that I'll be able to take the 4 mils in a race, but there's only one way to find out! Thanks man!! I'm hoping all the bling will help to blind some of the competition running the bigger engines, LOL... Hell yeah, I expect to hear you bright and early then! Damnit why can't this trip be this upcoming weekend, I'm ready to go!
  9. I think it would be cool, especially for the folks that have never done any work like that before. You could sell them here, ebay, local dealers, etc...if you got the time, and the demand is there, it sounds like a good idea
  10. LMAO, thanks Scott! Shee won't be lowered at the dunes, will that make any difference?
  11. That sucks but I totally understand! We could definitely meet up a little earlier, maybe 10:30 or 11. Whenever you get up on the days you're there, be sure to stop by my camp before you head out into the dunes if we're not camping close....I'll be awake, last time I went I couldn't sleep much at all anyhow. Damn right! I can't freakin wait...this trip will be the first time I fire my banshee up since last October
  12. wesw is right, you really have to get out there and see what's best for you. I tried 3 different gearing setups and I still don't think I have it exactly where I need it. Trial and error my friend, go ahead an pick up a variety of sprockets, it'll take more than a few passes to figure out which way you need to go
  13. Works for me!
  14. I agree about the flag deal, I'll probably have a "BBB" and "BHQ" on mine...but if you miss me you'd have to be blind, or deaf, lol. If it's sunny out, better bring your shades Last time I went to LS, I think we met up at noon or so, right in front of the strip. It worked out well, gave everyone time to wake up, shake their hangovers off, and get coordinated enough to make it to the strip. I know I'll be up at the butt crack of dawn every day anyhow, I'm used to waking up at 5am to go to work I need to get crackin and try and fab up some new mounts for the helmet cam
  15. Yes indeed Are we going to try and have a "group meeting" on Saturday or something? That way everyone from the HQ can surely meetup, say....at the drag strip?
  16. If I recall correctly, yes they do. I had one before I went with my round style carrier.
  17. Why thank you You'll definitely have to stop the camp early in the trip, don't know how long they'll last!!! We're planning to bring about 40-50 of them, they're pretty stout so it only takes a few to get a good buzz going 28 days left!!!
  18. You would think champ lives in loco's ass for as much as he "refers" to posts Tyler makes...It seems like all he does is sit around and think up sly remarks to talk shit about him I know he has got to have better things to do in life than keep stirring shit up in here regarding Tyler...for Christ's sake, grow up people!
  19. We just made 2 batches last night for this trip. One batch of pale ale and another of brown ale
  20. BRING BEER!!! lol Or you can stop by my camp and have some of our home brew
  21. Not really...all you need to know is to show up sometime between the 23rd and 26th of March, lol Nothing to see here.....move along
