  1. Take it apart+you will see what i'm talking about. It's been a while but i remember their's a washer or spacer with a hollowed out side, that is forced over+around the c-clip when tightend. It looks like all you have to do is swap the spacer to the other side.
  2. I also found the directions more confusing than helpful. After trying the many different options. I put the nut on the same way as in your pic..With the spacers arranged differently than you have it.So that when you tighten it the concave part of the spacer completly surrounds the c-clip.
  3. The revs will give you a bit more rev compared to the mids. You will loose some mid pull but not that much. The power will be smooth+constant with no spikes from bottom to top.In my opinion they don't have nearly as much over rev as t5's.Compared to the t5's you sacrifice upper rpm pull for the smoothness in the power delivery.
  4. 97 stock motor complete with carbs. 65.50 bore.located in Ma.1000.00
  5. Welcome Q ball.I'm from the Cape. The ridding is very limited around here. There is a local pit in the mid cape area i can ride at whithout getting hasseled. It's not open to the general public. If your interested in ridding with us some weekend give me a shout. :headbang:John

    28mm pwks

Thomas My bro has a set of basicly new 28mm Mikuni's.They are mint. They were to much carb for his stock set up.He paid 200.00 shipped+would prob let go for a little less.
  8. Brian i have never met the K+k riders so i can't defend them they may be a bunch of arrogant pricks.I have met Shawn the owner,Donald,Chris+Walter+when you indirectly insulted them you caught my atention. They are good people! They have gone out of their way to help me+they take good care of their customers+friends.I'm not trying to start shit, just thought that comment was out of line.
  9. I run the Boss intake set up,the ones with no cross over tube. You can buy a set of the 34mm rubber boots that bolt to the intakes for about 15.00 from UPP.I would try that first.I agree most stock(minor mods)set ups will respond better+be easyer to tune with the ballance tube inplace.I have a mx style port set up for off idle power delivery. The crispness of the throttel responce is incredible.I'm also fanatical about tunning, allthough everyone that has ridden my bike is amazed how it pulls. There is no dead spot that usually goes along without haveing the tube.

    Dynatek

About 1 year agow i bought a used dyna ignition system,at the time it was only a couple months old.I was impressed with it+it seamed to work very well.It was a noticable difference between the curves+my set up liked#2.Then it started to fail unexpectlly at the worst times. After i replaced every other electrical component. I narrowed the prob down to the dyna box. After talking with Bradrs(who suggested i send it back) I called Dyna+explained the prob+being totally honest,I told them i did not buy it new,but that it was less than a year old. So i sent it in+they sent me a brand new one a couple weeks later. Now thats some A1 customer service+i was'nt even their original customer. Mad props to Bradrs+Dynatek for their exellent products+outstanding service!!!
  11. Happy birthday Will!
  12. Why not have it tailored to your needs.Granted they are very impressive write out of the box,but is anything you own not customized before applied? The builders love these cylinders because they don't have to reinvent the wheel as far as porting goes to make them run really strong wherever the power is mostly needed for your application. They basiclly just have to massage them(minimal labour)to optimize the power delivery+output.I'll be giveing a first hand review of one of the so called ( detuned) decked 68/4mill 421cub packages in the next month or so.
  13. Joe unfortuntely the F.I.O crew will not be able to attend this trip. We are all trying to get geared up for the June 06 Roostfest with Walter+the Sand Bros gang.Hopefully you can hook us up with some transport+join us as well. John
  14. They just signed off to soon so i went to the rev's.Then the revs were still to mellow so i went back to the t5's.My motor pulls like a bear even on the bottom. With the toomeys it still has way more bottom end than Banchetta's stroker with pt's.
  15. I have some.They are in exelent condition,like new.I paid alot for these but they did'nt suit my ridding style+set up.Pics are available,if seriously interested.pm Me+make a reasonable offer.
  16. Happy Birthday :cheers:Brooke+Brad

  20. On my Patriot 4mill mx set up i run 28pwk d slides.At 75deg,sea level,clamp-ons,165 mains,48pilots,jjh needles 1st clip setting,air screws 1 1/4 out.With t5 pipes.
  21. Another good sale from bansheeryder_69. I recieved my part as described shortly after he recieved my payment. John
  22. Patriotracing.com I have one of Dan's 4mill mx ports. The low to mid pull is unreal!!!! My set up with t5's has substantially more low end than any other set up i have ever ridden.I have never rode a Gorr ported bike,so i can't give any first hand experience there for a comparison.I have ridden GRR,Pashion,+ some other lesser known mx port set ups+they all ran very strong+i would recomend all of them. But none of them ran as strong as mine through the bottom+mid.
  23. pt revs 250.00,toomey t3's 275.00,dg head pipes only 80.00,fmf golds head pipes only50.00,pt mids complete like new 500.00 does not include shipping.
