  4. Our prayers go out to you+your family. John
  5. Yes it is possible. On the end of the shift drum, there is a brass pin that(when in neutral) comes in contact with the screw located on the white plastic cover that seals the case on the stator side.It is there for that very purpose. It is still there from when yamaha designed old rd+rz for street use.
  6. I have a prm full coverage swingarm skidplate+the a arm covers too, with all the mounting hardware,Make offer if interested.
  7. That's Ash"s show bike.He was at roostfest with his wife Bobby+their children. His father was also there with the blue 4 seat buggy. He kept it in the trailor most of the time, when he took it out i was right there with the camera.I think Him+Walter Did the photo shoot for Sand Addiction that day.
  8. The dynojet needles are longer with a finer taper+also have 5 clip positions insted of 4 like the stock 5n7needles.On my old set up both needles ran well, but the dynojet ones gave me a crisper off idle throttel responce. The stockers will work fine.If your not satisfied with them,I have a set of dynojet needles i'll sell ya.
  9. 66 ft.-lbs
  10. If they ride chances are i probaly know them.
  11. Brewster,mid cape area
  12. I can awnser your question with first hand experience.I also live in Ma+do the same kind of ridding you do.With the exception of one week in the dunes a year.A correctly ported(mx)4 mill stock cylinder set up will have a much broader+useable power curve.I'm compairing my set up to my bro's decked(detuned)421 cub.Shure he has a lot more top end,but you have to get through the lower+midrange before the blistering topend kicks in. Unless your just drag racing+don't care about low end grunt,IMO opinion thecubs are not what your looking for.I set up both bikes+if i was going to do it again.I'd stay with the stock cylinder set upon mine for 95% of the ridding i do. Or you can come down to the cape later this spring+ride both of our set ups+make your own choice.

    Dumont

Dumont is very compairable to Glamis. The dunes are more peaky, not roolers more to a point+then down again. It's also alot smaller with less people.I just returned from ridding both+i would personally prefer ridding Dumont.I have plenty pics of both,if someone wants to post them.
  15. 2003,Used for one dune trip only.Over 40k new.31000. obo.Located in Ma.Pics available upon request.Delivery arrangements possible.pm me for more details if seriously interested.

  18. correct,not a override
  19. It made the gears mesh together with less effort.Combined with a set of rz forks+drum,It shifts like a honda
  20. Boonman back cut 1/2the dogs off a set of gears for me.It was a real nightmare to machine. The cutters he destroyed cost more than he charged me for for the job.He modified the gears only not the drum.
  21. I also had a similar experience, last time i ordered some parts from him.To complete the list i needed 6 pressure plate bolts. So he molested his own bike+sent everything the next day. All the hype is true.If you want great service+no bs Jeff is the man to call!
  22. It should work.I used the same cable for 28pwk's,34pj's,35pwk's,+33pwk's
  23. Thanks guys, glad i could help you out. :cheers I'm laughing all the way to the bank. They were Joe's carbs
  24. Just wanted to express my appreciation for all the help from the people here.Who offered+ helped locate all the parts+pieces to get my bro's ride back together.Picture this.2000 miles from home on the way to Glamis. You stop at little Sarah for quick sand fix.A couple hours into it,after dialing it in.He goes threw the gears+nails it in 4th.Throttel sticks WFO(100hp421cub)It spits him off the back+takes off! From what he describeed. It accelerated forward untill it came to a 15ft bank+then went skywerd about 50ft up+landed about 100ft from the launch site! :whoa:Houston we have aproblem!!!! Thank god nobody was hurt but the bike was'nt so lucky.Damage included buckeled frame,1 a arm, axle, stingers+some misc bullshit. As of now he has everything he needs to rebuild it.(this happened last sunday)Thanks to (Indubitly)Pete+pete sr,(Fast)Jeff,(JT)Joe,(Quicksand)Gary(philly)Ryan,(NYUK)John+ the many others who i'm forgeting.Special thanks to Walter(mp370)who offered his quad to use +(banchetta)for offering his yfz.Whithout everybodys help this never would of been possable to pull off. Most sincere thanks John+Joe
  25. On my Lonestar+2+1 a arms. The tie rods that came with them were 13 1/2 in without the rod ends installed. That is set up to work with the(stock) yamaha style rod ends.Sorry i can't give you more info.My bike is'nt here or i would measure the arms for ya.
