when was your last rebuild, i ran 20 cc on my old setup and had 155 psi and im about the same elevation as you. might do a compression test to see if the readings are off more than 10%. if they are close i would get some 19 domes if your running good gas

okc always had cheap fuel. hmm times are tough i guess. guess when everyone spends their paycheck on fuel and cost of living. somebody will realize that we wont help the economy but not buying stuff like xmas gifts and what not

sounds like your doing to much idling if your bikes not moving its not getting air thru the radiator also 20 oz of oil to 4 gals of gas is rich try 16oz of oil to 4 gals which is 32-1 or 16 oz to 5 gals 40-1

there is not such thing as potential weight. you dont get a cdl to only haul say 70000 lbs. you have class A OR B A is combination tractor trailer b is just bob tail or trucks only so by getting a cdl you are able to haul what ever weight it allowed. by your tag and permitts. and what your equipment can bridge. your buddy doesnt need a cdl to pull that stuff, cause his pu is tagged for 26m or less im betting.

you get endorsements for air brakes on your cdl. like combinations and tanker also just cause it doesnt have air brakes doesnt make it where you dont need a cdl

you should be at 250 - 280 mains if that with no pipes with pipes you should be at 340ish probably smaller also thought 30 was teh biggest pilot you could get for stock carbs if you bike starts with no choke adn first kick your rich on the pilot, i would put the stock pilot back in my guess stock pilots, 3rd clip 260 mains for what you claimed

whats bad is take a triple motot it will have more power than some cars.

i dont have a 450 yet but was wondering if any of you have tried or tested Nmotions exhaust. saw one on a bike at the dyno but dont know how it compares to others. it was beyond loud the only down fall

by raiseing the needle your lowering the clip or moving the clip towards the pointed end. i would try the needle first to see if it helps then worry about the pilot. try 4th clip see how it acts. then try the 5th it might respond well to it.

you will like the shearers performance wise. those cubs are making alot of hp but been reading they are shit for any lowend. dontknow but for the dunes or drags they would be killer

i personnally not a big fan of bigger pilots on the stock carbs. if you went up i would go to the 27.5. im almost the same elevation as your are. i was stock pilots, 4th clip on the needle with 340 mains with t5s, open box that should get you some where near the ball park

the 3s are not adjustable. the 2 were low and high with flipping over the plate adn dicking with the screws. thats way the 2 had problems screws rattling out and tearing up motors as for the guy with problems raise your needle to the 4th clip and see how it runs you have to richen your jetting for the reeds

in theory he should have one, in reality they wont jack with you or him about it. they are more after semis, and pu trucks doing hot shot loads. so your friend should be ok. just tag the units under 26k and you will be fine, they go off what your tag at.

i would suggest going up on the needle. you sound lean down low and off the line. a bigger pilot might help but raise your needle first
