ran a 4 over with my old dune motor making 80 hp 6 over might have been good but the 4 was more fun on the hills. 21 9 paddles. 12 over you better be on alky and lot of paddles it depends on more your paddles also. lot of the 421 cubs on alky with 14 paddle ext are running 12 over 100+ hp so i think 4-6 would be ideal depending on paddle numbers.
