  1. first off im going to make a video on how to do it in a week or two but first off. i think your using stock carbs if i remember correctly, you put on that adapter on the thinger. remove your air box or pods. fire the bike up. let it idle put the tool over the back of the carb, get a reading on both carbs. say 3 then 5 on the other you adjust your idle screws to where they they read the same. once you have the same reading and say your bike is running high. remember or mark the screw and turn them the same amt to bring the idle down and keep in sync. but double check after you get them to the wanted idle speed --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- to adjust mid throttle sync its hard to do with stock cable but get a person or something to wedge to keep the same rpms and its a bitch hard to find someone to keep a steady hand. thats why i love my terry cable just adjust the cable out and it raises the slides up. when you get a decent rpm thats not making it screaming and steady get some readings. then adjust the tops of your carbs to get the same readings. then give your cable a bit of slack and should be good to go. if you got them damn close you will be able to hear the pipes tinging at the same time. or if one is a bit quicker you know you might need to adjust them a bit more. hope this helps again ill make a video soon but got shit going on.
  2. theres been many topic on ps about it. it does back timing down but not enough when your turning 10k rpms. and you dont need an adjustable timing plate unless your going to add more timing to the box. which i would do but iknow you guys do. the ol timing plate is tired and true. very cheap. but what do i know.
  3. i wouldnt spend the money on one unless you can do a custom program. they dont back down the timing at upper rpms and can cause a motor to blow up. b ut if you got the software and dyno or whatever and lot of time you can program the piss out of it and get some cool curves. i used to run one, trying to see if it helped or cause problems. it had custom programs on it though.

  5. not sure where minco is. but alva sells 108 octane at the gas station at the stop light. was 6 a gal last yr. rn brad gets some from a place in okc. jim at passions knows a place in tulsa. you could pm brad or call jim to ask them where they get theirs at. can search sunoco race gas and it will give locations. vp fuel also.

    im a dumbass that went to sams and bought saw 3 didnt read the package very well. its blu ray and i dont have one of those players. anyone want to trade a reg saw 3 dvd for it. never been played, cause it wont play in my dvd player.
  11. up shift under power, then come to stop down shift seems to work the best. drag racing yes you can downshift it but i would use the clutch.

  13. anyone has problems with norton trying to update and it says sorry hard to get a good pic. i dont know why it does it and how to fix it. i let it do what it wants but nothing ever happens. click on it and does shit
  14. get a cable from walmart that has the headphone jack on one end and rca cables on the other. and use some rca cables to hook to your big stereo is what i did.

    i can get 20mpg if i drive 55, but who knows my truck must be goofy i dont see how it can get that at 80. like at teh dunes shawn asked a guy with a jacked up powerstroke pulling a 38ft full tailgator trailer, with no wind ramp or anything and it was a tall trailer. he got 19mpg driving 80mph from kc pulling it. havent seen a p.s get that mileage stock driving 55. it was funny shawn was like this guy will inflate this numbers he sure the hell did. not saying your getting 20 but hard to believe. but i have only had my truck for a month.

    yeah black paint isnt easy to keep clean but this ice, rain, etc every other day i just give up trying to wash it or clean it, my yard is almost a pond.

    according to the computer 17.9 but my speedo is off by 3mph with those bigger tires. with out the chip the computer says 14.2 truck doesnt sound like its running very well with out it honestly. just purrs with it on.

    the edge is nice i run it on level 5 for better mileage just dont put your foot into it. tranny dont seem to like that at all. got 4miles per gal better by chipping and exh. cant bitch. when i pass i put it on level 3 the shift on the fly is nice. just put your foot down 1/4 throttle and your at like 85mph in no time its unreal.

    06 dmax, crew cab cloth interior, 41k when i bought it, put edge programmer on it, silverline 4inch exhaust on it. got windows tinted, line-x bed liner, soon to replace speakers and stereo. rest of the truck came that way with bigger tires, grill guard, nerf bars, and b-w hide a hitch. so far i love it. more power than i would ever thought for that big of a truck. be lot easier and roomier going to the dunes. truck is dirty cause the weather in ks has been pure shit lately.

  25. first off if your isnt porting your really have some big carbs on that bike. sec you will need a carb sync tool, get one from jeff or somewhere else. 3rd do a search on my name wesw. ive did a 1000 jetting pj posts. im not going to repost it all. but there are plenty of how to adjust them. your jetting sounds close but you might have to adjust it to your bike. who knows hard to say you need 4/5 clip on the needle with out being there or whateve. again search my name in the jetting threads if you cant figure it out pm me. ive walked more guy thru pj jetting and setup then i can count. later. wes
