i have a toomey rad. right now it liek 40 deg out i have a piece of card board about 5 in tall covering most of my rad so i will warm up. now it gets to about 120 it used to run only 90 deg. now when we go to the dunes in 90 deg weather, mine will run about 160 -180 while the others with stock are at 190+ and having to stop to cool it down well worth it but expensive :flame:

i got 20 and am run 91 octane and havent had a problem. its jetting. you probably have something different than stock. and ran it wide open for a long time and smoked a hole in it.

ok my brother in law, is getting his lower end done by a guy in ks. he was askign the ol boy about v force reeds. and according to his opinion, he wouldnt buy them or put them on unless they were giving to him. are they that bad. i mean i put mine on with a bunch of stuff, but surely they flow better with all the fancy shapes adn whatnot right

im run 360 with my combo at 1000 ft runs like a top

most of the aftermarket pipes are about the same for 4 strokes. i would figure in cost adn noise cause them damn thumper with pipes are way too loud

my sister has one. its fun to ride, not a banshee but fun. good suspension, torquey, fun. and it has reverse which is nice. sure it wont out run a 450 but nice bike.

you need to tell us more about what you got done. what pipes, etc, and elevation if it was me i would run the box with the lid off with a pro design plate and jet it from there

i would get 20 i run 20-10-10 10 paddles haulers and havent had any problem. taller tires would make it go faster but would be harder to pull cause of the drag of the sand. so i wouldnt get them.

sahara is like a gnat compared to glamis, the biggest hills might be 50-75ft tall and usually have a hell of a lip at the top of them so hill shooting isnt the best but for around this area its is a blast

i tried the 10w40 route and my bike was a bitch to shift missed gears like a bitch. a guy told me about bel ray. tried it instint improvement. some claim that its not good since toomey dont recommend it but after field testing it, it was way better than just oil. the atf type f fluid deal i going to try it next. belray looked like it, smelled like it, cost 4x more. i remember after getting my truck tranny rebuild that put a semi hard shift kit in it. it had type f in it and would shift good and hard, second gear scratch, changed the fluid to regular decron whatever and didnt shift as good so i changed it back.

you can read my sig and see what i got im running 360 in ks about 1000ft at the dunes i would go up one or 2 cause of the drag the sand has on your motor let me know when you go there maybe we can meet up

i got an 02 z71 with the 5.3. it runs great and pretty quick. my bitch its too small of a motor to pull my dads horse trailer, which is kinda a lead sled. but other than that it great. gets about 17 mpg in the summer.13 in town

from your sig you have two pipes. the dmc are a good pipe. they should give you all around power, diffently a strong mid

im running 360 in 1000 ft with t5 , pro design filter, v forces, needle in the 4th like toomey said. runns great. if i really got picky i probably could go up more get old fulling the bowls off though

are these plastic case saver some tough bastards. why im asking is alot of people claimed you made good stuff so i was interested in getting one. i take it you are saying the plastic is better than the metal ones am i right is so i would be interested in one pm me
