  1. your crank has nothing to do with compression, its your pistons and head or domes. my advice if you can afford it i would go for it. more stroke= more power. i will get getting my passions +4 stroker by jan i hope and will let you know. also if you need a good stock crank i got one that i pulled out for my stroker its in excellent cond. no play. i would get some one to weld and true it before you install it. if interested let me know
  2. i was told that it will seperate at cold temps my advice is shake the shit out of it and possibly put it near some heat to help them stay together. not an open flame or anything

  9. banchetta after all your r&r what did you come up with. reed spacers make it more power wise but less smooth, boost bottle did what in layman terms looks like to be the spacers made it worse on some of those pics still very interesting info

    i got a set for you but you seem awfully picky they got toomey needles with 360 mains in them now. good shape also tors tops on them also i also got another set that are not worth much except parts i will set them all if interested cheap
  11. i got a stock stator, that i just pulled off with a +4 or +5 timing plate made by banshee work(bdbanshee) for sale if you want it let me know pm me
  12. i gettin a passion engine done, should be done in jan. majority of people on here that has his seem over joyed so i hope to add my name to the list will let you know
  13. he didnt claim the wouldnt work for his engine, just the slides and needles the come with them dont work very well. claims the pj are easy to adjust, but getting it to idle is harder. i guess only time will tell. i dont know the whole story of you two but i do remember you tried 2 different needles. i dont know but some guys are trying 6 pair, maybe thats what it will take, shit if i know. all i know is there are several guys on here with his engine and they run well. so you get all them to chime in with what elevation and what needles, jets that worked we will get it figured out
  14. im planning on running rockets, pj34 (jim claims the pwk slides adn needles are not right and a real pain). v force, prodesign filter, i got 20cc domes now but i might got 19 or 18 havent decided. im at 1000ft. ks weather changes all the time, it is 30-40 now cold as hell. guess we will figure it out. i just would like to figure out all those needle. on sudco.com shit there are a shit load of choices adn i haven t a clue what to use or where to even start. later

  16. more timing equal more a chance of detanation or pinging, which higher compression. say you put some domes in like 19 and test your compression and it is 160psi then you throw in +4 you probably will need more octane to handle it

  22. you wont know any thing till you open the motor up i could be a cracked piston. if the crank is bad i would put a +4 stroker in. if you need a good used crank i will have one that i would be will ing to sell I was out a few days ago and i think i took my crank out if i do have to replace it what kind should i look at???? I was driving along not even hard and the bike made a funny chug noice i shut it then later tried to kick it over to find it had seized when i got the bike home it would kick over but i haven't really tried starting it but when it did start to turn over it made the chug noice again!!   24. toomey have a snap ring thats on the back of the silencer. remove it and pull the stuff out. also the new packing is really itchy so watch out.
