  2. i ran my old engine t5 with v force reeds, pro design filter, with no lid ran 340 mains, toomey needle in the 4th clip ran like a top.
  3. your too high geared on a stock ported engine. the sand is hard to pull plus your at a 15 frt which i would run in the dirt on a stock bike, not in the sand. 14 or 13 you will have more acceleration, but not top speed. or get a good port job and you probably will put a 15 frt
  4. no trouble i got some jetting advice man thats fucked up with your pistons sucks to send money then shit goes wrong adn have to do it again.. you going to have to bore it out or just hone it and re ring it with new pistons
  5. you will be higher geared and faster. probably wont have as much low end as before but if you got the motor you will be able to pull the gears better and not have to shift as much unless you downshift a bunch
  6. it is a system if or when your shee would get wot and the throttle would stick it would shut the engine down. usually it would screw up adn not let the bike run right. i put the kit on and it works good.
  7. gas vs diesel in a pulling contest the diesel will always get better mileage. thats why semi have huge diesel engine, torque to pull and get some what of a mileage. my pete averages 5.5 but we idle to unload our trailers

  10. i have a 02 z71 with the 5.3. i pulled my dads 16 ft horse trailer, i pulls like crap up one hill it went to 5300 rpm in sec gear with the cruise set at 60 mph. thought it was going blow. i dont pull a load much but i regret not getting a diesel. my truck get 19 mpg goign to waynoka at 70 mph the whole way. but if i putted a trailer my god probably 9 i bet. now i debatign to trade it in for a diesel. ima chevy man but those powerstrokes are soem running bastards, cummins makes the best engine but dodge doesnt have the truck to handle it. if you want a balls out truck get the international cxt. http://www.navistar.com/site_layout/severe/cxt.asp this bitch is bad ass
  11. i cut 2 inch off my rockets like loco did. they are way to long if wheelied and hit the grab bar it probably would have hit the silencers. i would recommend a band saw instead of a chop saw like i did hard to get a nice cut on a chopsaw.

  15. i was wondering what needle and clip position, and mains you are running with this setup with the pj 34. they came with ceg, im thinking i need something different. whats your thoughts. also what temp and elevation you all are at

  20. well if thats the case i would get a yfz and keep the shee for the dunes or somethign else. it always nice to have 2 bike to choose from
  21. i ran 20cc with +4 timing with 158 psi of compression with no problem the pistons looked good. thats with 91 octane the best you can get in ks. just a thought.

  23. i did about the same as you. i put a whole complete hinson clutch system in i broke the inner hub and is like hey why not buy the whole system. ask jim. the pressure plate rubbed against the casing adn would actually kill the engine. basically it was a major pain the ass for 700 bucks
  24. those are the idle here are air screws on the left side above the bowls towards the back. remove the box if you have one to adjust it makes it a lot easier mine a set a 8 full rev out on the idle then adjusted the screws to get it to rev up then lowered the idle down . pain
