  1. That from someone in the UK at least we can still protect oursleves over here!
  2. I ride as hard as I can pretty much all the time, sometimes I wont drive into the corners as hard or go quite as nuts but I never put around.
  3. Batman Begins was a very good movie i thought. Lots of good ol batman being a mean mofo! I liked it better than the spiderman movies
  4. Id say gearing down is one of the worse things you can do for trails. All you do is spin and rev out and you will be shifting like a madman. put a 15t on there. It smooths the power hit out and lets the engine pull longer. you will have the slip the clutch more but it will be much more rideable and faster.
  5. you need resistor plugs with a dyna ignition, other than that you dont
  6. Good post Dan, glad to see im not the only one who feels this way
  7. shorten that swingarm 2 inches and see how it goes
  8. Id have to say they are on the list of guns not to get...my dad has a P90 and it is garbage...controlls nowhere near where you want them, sloppy trigger, doesnt hit where you point it...
  9. the '05 were supposed to be softer, I klnow they will fit. Or you could want until the '06 come out they are supposed to be alot better
  10. you want a mono block and all the benefits that come with it, with a modern port layout, nicasil bore, and want to use all your stock perf. parts and you ride woods. you dont have the money for a cheatah. What do you do? you get some cubs and detune them a bit i guess! Im not sure how detuning something to make it better became a bad thing, although Im not sure why people would want to ride a banshee in the woods either!
  11. same plugs for 2 years on a stroker no problems
  12. if you are just putting holes in paper get a 9mm. light recoil and cheap ammo. Glocks are pretty popular expecially their 9mm, good guns Go to a store and handle a bunch of guns and see what fits you best
  13. the L shaped bracket goes bolts to the front frame bracker behind the bumper. The round part goes onto the stearing stem. It takes a while to get the angle set right so it doesnt bind and uses full travel and clears the radiator. Steering dampers are a great mod. youll like it
  14. Yamaha didnt wow me as much with the new YFZ as they did with the new Raptor. I think yamaha really out did themselves on it. The thing is completely new!! I think it is the biggest change it a sport quad EVER! looks like the industry is finally on a roll, good times!
  15. the thing will ride like a brick on a roller skate...not to mention youll bend your wheel real easy.... go with a 18x8
  16. get some narrow hose clamps, or ditch the UPP boots and get a pair of those 2 inch dia rubber plumping couplers with hose clamps included for 10 bucks
  17. coolant is like 220 max...pipes get insainly hotter than that. I know toomey reccomends flipping the hose around, maybe that works with PTRs too..call duncan racing and see what they say
  18. you assume these are logical rational people we're dealing with...
  19. never heard of that serious flaw..must be a new one
  20. Helmet, gloves, goggles w/ roll-offs, jersey, chest protector, riding pants, spandex underneath..absolutely neccesarry to prevent riders rash, two pair of socks..the outer ones long up too my knees to keep my knee/shin gaurds from chaffing, and a pair of Tech 6s
  21. suzuki is dead serious about racing, I bet the z450 is going to be a reall pisser. I hope it makes the yfr and 450r look like trash so yamaha and honda get serious about racing. Although Bill Ballance says the ufz is going to be all new this year....it very well could be another benchmark year for ATVs
  22. sounds good to me..i always thought people with fords were alittle goofy anyway
  23. its not the hubs that are different its the spindles/steering knuckle. Those are just stock ones that have been moddified to bolt a 2nd caliper on
  24. the big problem with tapered bearings is you cant adjust the chain worth a crap. They are so much a bigger OD that ball bearings they cant be off center as much. My brother couldnt adjust enough to put a 1 tooth bigger sprocket on his bike, even when adding and subracting links
