  1. Well....... Here's the new truck. That's a friend of mine that I go riding with.
  2. Ya shit...take it easy with that wrist. I broke mine at practice a couple months ago (had been all healed now) and I was working on my truck with a ratchet last night and now today it's a little sore. Glad to hear everything is relatively ok though!
  3. I got an idea....This just came to me as I was reading through the posts....How about : Redish Diesel Performance !!! I like it.
  4. Well, I bought some PB Blaster the other day in town and sprayed some on the bolts last night and some this morning. Later this afternoon I was lookin around on my truck today and noticed the passanger nerf bar was a bit wiggly. I looked underneath and moved around on it some more. I threw a socket on it and turned the bolt no problem. So I tried the front one...that one turned also. Then I tried the very front ones and they turned, with a bit of pulling...but nothing serious. All of the bolts in the cab ended up coming out tonite and 3" blocks were put in...I don't have pics yet cause I just got in and didn't feel like going back out for pictures, but I'll get some tomorrow when I lift the box. It took me about 5 - 5 1/2 hours for the cab. I couldn't get the nerfs back on when I was trying to put the bolts in so I just left them off after trying for 30 minutes. I have to say...It looks quite a bit better with that extra 3" even with the crappy tires on it. Can't wait til I get my new ones on. Gonna get them mounted on Monday for 9 bux a piece down the road from my house. Then hopefully I'll get them on that night and take a buncha pics. Now I'm excited! Can't wait to get it finished. Thanks for all the advice fellas. Later Bob
  5. Well you see....I don't have $200 to go to Sears and get a nice Craftsman impact wrench...wish I did. Fact is I don't. And I doubt I know anybody with one. So I need alternative options to this dilemma.
  6. Why don't they turn out? What kind of truck? I did my Explorer and just sprayed all the bolts with PB Blaster everyday for a week. They all came out fine with a small electric impact gun. Well you see, they don't come out cause the kit is going on an 89 K1500. I've been trying with an electric impact gun but its easier turning them with a breaker bar than it is with that thing. I thought about trying some PB Blaster...Spose it couldn't hurt. How much is a can and where can I pick some up?
  7. Got the tires last friday - Dunlop Radial Mud Rover 33x12.5R15 - and the wheels came yesterday - 15x10 American Racing Wheels - Body lift I picked up last week Monday from a local offroad shop...Got some 2" blocks for the rear also and am going to raise the torsion bars 1". Found out I have quite the gas leak and need all my lines replaced so I'm not able to torch off the bolts for the body lift just yet. Any suggestions on what I could do to get them out that DOESN'T involve grinding or torching? Keep in mind they don't turn out.

  9. I happen to love my avatar. Gimme somethin worthwhile and I can change it.
  10. Ya I dunno...Usually they aren't that biased about things, lately anyways, til I read that. That just blows my mind. Was it not broken in properly yet? Were they in some magical dunes where it was 10 degrees? Who knows, but there's no way that was a proper way to start it out.
  11. At the end they say the DS is king of the sand over a Banshee. I dunno if I'd wanna agree with that. It could be a nice machine, I've never ridden one, but that's all the Banshee has is to be king of the dunes. That's what everyone has always known it as. Looks like that's going to change...Or is it!?
  12. I just put an EBC Heavy Duty clutch kit in my Banshee....Seems to be holding up great as far as I know.
