  1. Try Medium. That would last the longest
  2. Ladder bars ay? I wouldn't know what I'm doing...Not many people around here have brush guards or roll bars. I just wanted somethin to make that won't be too hard and will look decent in the end.
  3. For a fab class we gotta make somethin. I was thinking about a 4" IFS lift for my truck, but the more I see lifts and how to put them on I think it would just be too damn hard. So I was gonna fab up a nice roll bar with a light bar on top along with a front brushguard. Anybody have some pics of how theirs connects and if somebody could possibly get dimensions I'd greatly appreciate it.
  4. haha. Wish my truck woulda made it when my friends and I went. Broke a front drivers side cv axle. Had to be towed out by a dodge. Drove 9 hours home with a broken front axle makin it sound like a poor running diesel *clunk clunk clunk clunk* I wish I coulda made it out for sandfest, but the funds and time just weren't there. Next year FOR SURE!
  5. I live near Sheboygan and I'm always up for meetin new riders. My friend and I race at Gravity Park in Chilton and are always up for new guys to ride with. We both have a shitload of land that we ride on, trails, woods, and we made a jump at his house and I got one at mine. As for tracks to ride: Chilton - Gravity Park, a track in Fond Du Lac - haven't been there yet, but a friend of mine has he says it's awesome, a track in Denmark - haven't been there yet either, but heard good things.
  6. Will cutting the front fender make that big of a difference as far as wind resistence and speed is concerned? It won't make that much of a difference. It just looks a helluva lot better IMO. Get on a diet. That'll save some weight. haha. New rims, handlebars, swingarm, a arms, etc. Can change a lot of stuff to aftermarket and it'll weigh a lot less than stock. Good luck.
  7. Bored to 28mm you say? You may see a TINY bit of a difference on low end but not much on top end. With my stock carbs at an MX race I can pull 3rd gear off the starting gates with no bogging whatsoever. With my 28mm flatslides it takes a light feathering of the clutch to have balls out power off the line. Takes a little higher rpm to have the same power as the 26's.
  8. Jealousy will get you nowhere my friend!!!! 38's is all you can go..... Believe me, if you could go 44's, you would. But I am sure something set your limit at 38" tires. And is it a 1/2 ton???? Anyways... I ran 33's, 38's, and then 44's. 29's are easily atainable, but I have lost the niche to drive around illegal trucks. My truck was far from street legal, yet a whole lot better constructed and safer than alot of trucks I see out there.... Also, it's up for sale..... Clicky Clicky....... SOLD! hehe. Just kidding. I do heart your truck though. Fine piece of machinery.
  9. Could try taking off your skirt and putting on some man pants Nah. Lube your cable up good. That's probably the one main thing that's makin it stiff. I'll lube up mine and it'll be like there's nothin there. Same with the clutch, I can pull it like there's no spring being pulled when it's lubed up good. Good luck
  10. Do you wear a skirt while you are on the computer too?
  11. "Stick it where it fits"
  12. awesome pic and congrats...... but please tell me thats not a paper plate tied to your front bumper as a number plate First off...I'm on the banshee...duh....second...it's a fiberglass plate just like any other, except round. That's my friend on the 250r. (I pass him a lap after that picture was taken and take 2nd place overall at the end of the night)
  13. Anybody need anything yet? This stuff really needs to go quickly.
  14. The pics on the flyer are small and if I took a pic of them nobody would be able to tell what it was...However, I can post the actual pics.
  15. My friend and I are on this past weekends flyer for at the local track. Two pictures of us actually. We were in first and second in one pic and the other one there's the first place, then my friend, and I'm in 3rd. Was stoked when I saw that!
  16. I think the Honda carrier has bigger bearings in it. Comparing my shee to my friend's 250r, his axle carrier is much bigger.
  17. Spot the virgin...hmm...is it the one named Lefty!? muahahahahaha
  18. You are worth exactly $1,837,650.00 I WIN
  19. Here's what you do...Take the silencers off, throw them away. All done. I have powercore 2 silencers and they don't have packing. They are freaking loud. They sound cool, but I like the sound with packing in better. Just haven't gotten around to doing it.
  20. Check not once, not twice, but three times before you got your topend rebuild all back together. I had gotten a fresh bore and new pistons about a month ago. Now everything is shot. Might even need to buy new jugs. A wrist pin clip came out somehow and was thrown around on my piston/cylinder walls and scored the hell outa the wall. Messed up the side and top of the piston too. Not sure how it even came out, but it happened. I even checked twice that everything was perfect before closing up and kicking it over. The other cylinder is farked up from something too, almost the same way as the one where the clip came out. Except it's got both clips and nothin was in there. Quite the confused right now about what happened but a friend of mine who helps run a harley shop checked it out and was helpin me with it today. He has no idea what happened except the clip on the other one. The other side is still a mystery. I have 3 or 4 races left and now it sits til winter when I can fix shit up. So theres my horror story.

  22. Alright. I guess the fool is tryin to drop the class but it's too late or somethin so they won't let him. lol. Word is he's goin to the main dude councelor guy and get transfered or drop it completely. He left a quiz more than half blank today. It's an open everything quiz. All answers are in the book and worksheets we do. And he just sat there swearing at the quiz the whole time he was taking it. Then whatever the hell he was doin in the shop he sat and looked at it swearing around that it wasn't working. lol. I sure hope this kid is outa my class soon!
