  1. Since everybody is ass kissing... I saw this a while back and thought it was neat. Last paragraph- http://www.eskimo.com/~daddog/repair/cams/ "coolest guy around" Meatball?? Come on???! seriuosly though, your site is the original, and it looks like you started something. Waaay back when I wanted a set of beadlocks because I saw how to change them on The Zone
  2. I wouldnt want grease all over my air box. On my dirt bikes I always buy a little rubber gasket type deal called a Pro Seal so I dont have to grease the edge anymore. All my ATV's always have the flange/ hoseclamp style filter setup and grease would make that more prone to slip off. I use WD-40 a lot to clean mine a lot to, but that is more of a degreaser. I also spray WD-40 on my whole bike (except brakes and chain) after washing it to make it look good and keep it from rusting.
  3. Ive heard of rebuilt and revalved but not recharged. That probably doesn't really much help though.
  4. If your talking about the YFZ450.... see what this new honda thinks http://veepers02.budweiser.com/service/Ret...5A-B3EE4054966E
  5. No offence Stan, but I can't stand that techno beat, redneck twangy, fast fiddler dam song. They always play it at bucs games. Repeatedly, it seems. Every time I hear it, it pisses me off (especially if we're loosing) Is that all they say is that one little verse? over and over
  6. I, personally, dont care for K&N filters. I ran the pro design flange with the foam that came with it for years with no problems. Something to think about- (On my YFZ at least) a similar flange and air filter to the PD was availabe for about 100 bucks. The whole aluminun airbox made by UM includes that flange on it and a K&N for 200. Of coarse I told them to keep it and they gave me the airbox for $30 cheaper. This particular box will fit any 250R filter, so I'm gonna pick up a Twin Air. (my favorite)
  7. For 500 bucks you could buy my AXIS and be "in there".
  8. $500 bucks for my axis.... it's in the "for sale" section.
  9. For $500 you could be "in there" with my rear axis I'm trying to sell.
  10. Southwest is almost ALWAYS the cheapest. Just hope they go where you have to.
  11. Sidewinder- 14,000 Tensile strength what else is there to say. I put the whole set up on my banshee like a 2 yrs ago and its still strong. I adjusted it twice. Once about 2 rides after it was new, and (somehow) my rear end was all out of whack causing the chain to run crooked and loose for I dont even know how long. The banshee is gone but I still got my sidewinder set. I bought another set for my YZ250F dirtbike and gave it hell. I mean riding 4 days a week for few hrs on sandy ass tracks with the 4 stroke. One time I was "burried" or something after a crash in a soft burm. I was doing a diggin the hole with the back tire number to try to get out. When I finally got out I couldnt find neutral. Come to find out I WAS in neutral but the chain was so packed with sand that the back tire wouldn't even roll. I just rode it out. After abusing it so long all I need now is a new front sprocket (teeth are bending just a little)
  12. I've heard of people doing this with sucess. I've only bottomed my front end on my 450 one time and that was really my own fault. People with 450's are probably selling them because they are making a move like me and going for the long travel front end.
  13. BTW- Moly is a friction modifier thats why its not in my tranny.
  14. I like learning about oils. Many people here probably remember me trying to convince everyone to quit wasting money on "motocycle oil" for the tranny. Anyways here's my .02. Im a car dealer so I buy a lot of oil (automobile). I recently learned about Molybdenum Disulfide, an oil additive used in some oils. Mobil 1 just recently started. You can tell because they changed the lil catch phrase near the top of the bottle from tri-synthetic to new synthetic formulation or something like that. Anyways I believe Moly is the shit, and I've been buying cases of Schaeffer's oils for gas cars/trucks, deisels, ATF fluids, and Im waiting on some greases. My point is Schaeffers makes a 2 stroke oil with moly in it. I'll be trying it real soon myself. info- http://www.schaefferoil.com/data/706.html Deuce, didnt you say you ran something called NEO before? I believe they use moly also. So do a few expensive oils like redline and royal purple. I dont know about 2 stroke prices but Schaeffers is way more cost effective for me than those others I named.
  15. I noticed that too, i doesnt sound that good IMO. The music channels on Direct TV sound quality is better! I was kinda dissapointed. Also if you have a unit in your house and a unit in your car you have to pay for BOTH (yearly or whatever) They do give you a discount on the secound acct. but not that much. Actually, I think Im gonna go return my unit and cancel my "two years for 199" that really turned out to be a $228.83 charge to the cc.
  16. "the check's in the mail" We'll see.
  17. What? no bids yet?
  18. type in XM radio in something like google and go to their website, call the 800 number on there.
  19. Someone showed me this same auction yesterday and it was at 35.8 mil, now its justy over 90 mil. I'm thinkin about setting my proxy bid at .... 1 and a half billion. What would ebay's cut be on that? Really I'm just gonna buy it so I can get a posivive feedback.
  20. $3700 on a 94 with no suspension. Looks like you're doing pretty good so far...
  21. bumpizle- $500 shipped
  22. pry with a flathead...
  23. Like the commercial said "beauty is in the eye of the beholder" "Well whoever be holdin that, be holdin one ugly car/truck"
  24. How bout a Ford Super Crewzer F-650 with a CAT motor, Allison tranny, air ride susp., Western Hauler bed, etc, etc... Or maybe one of those new Mercedes with the funny name that have a leer jet quality interior. Seriously, though I like the new F150!!
