  1. Rod- Toomey recomends using castrol 20w50 right there in the instructions for thier clutch install- http://www.toomey.com/html/clutch.htm (towards the end) You're not talking about "anti friction modifiers" are you??
  2. K&K sells them so I would assume that they have to be decent???? Never seen em in real life, though.
  3. It would be better if it was a -1 or -2! Tapered bearings or no???
  4. That thing costs more than most people probably paid for their banshee. "This vehicle is NOT for serious off-roading such as jumping or racing" Wouldnt it be funny to see someone trying to do that!!
  5. You guys never go to tracks? Mulberry, Bartow, Bithilo????
  6. Simple Green can be corrosive to aluminum! DOD testing is good enough for me. http://www.chinook-helicopter.com/maintena...s/cleaners.html There's a lot of aluiminum on our bikes, not to mention high dollar billet parts!! I USED to use it too, but now Im back to spending a couple bucks more for the "suzuki bike wash". It actually does a better job too. Just thought I'd let everyone know.
  7. I use Castrol 20w50 in the tranny and change almost every ride.
  8. 0028- Grease your zerks and lube your chain I use Castrol 20w50 in the tranny and change almost every ride.
  9. I prefer the foam also, IMO it filters better and is better with water
  10. The bolts will spin freely, they just wont come out without force if they're rusted bad enough.
  11. If u dont want part of your airbox open, you could try the airbox vents that have foam to stop some dirt.
  12. I thought pretty much all pipes turn blue, even with correct jetting.
  13. I have 160 something posts and am an "advanced member" However, it doesn't really matter to me. I usually dont even look at how many posts a person has unless they're trying to sell something. Holyman- I can send you a "cookie" or maybe a blue ribbon that says #1 or something like that. just kidding. It doesnt matter what it says after someones name. Say someone joins next week and he/she know more about banshees then any 2 of us combined, whats it gonna say after their name? Should people not listen to someones advise bacause of whaever "ranking" they have?
  14. TDR. Tony Doukas Racing.
  15. I had to cut the heads of both bolts and unmount the front of my pipes. Then I had more room to get a good hit on the bolts from the front and my pipes were out of the way in the back.
  16. Thumper Talk- for my 02 250f TheDieselStop- for my powerstroke
  17. I use the stock air box lid with the round foam vents, pro flow, and the foam that came with it. I usually only run the inner foam though. PJ 1 foam filter cleaner and oil. I dont like K&N filters myself. I like the polished lid that alba sells with the chanels (i guess) that supposedly let air in but not water, but I think they wanted like 100 bucks and thats why I didnt get it. Anyone ever tried that?
  18. Ha ha 99nhbansh! Way to go. Im like you too, I HAVE to have one. Maybe some of the honda fans in here wanna buy my 250r so I can go get mine too!
  19. A Raptor? The new yfz 450 looks like its on a different level. What is a crf 450 quad? a lonestar frame with a crf450 dirtbike motor?
  20. I got that case saver, mine fit right on I think. I got one of those ti moly set ups from sidewinder too, and it would be pretty hard to break. The tensile stregnth is like 14000....
  21. You said why the Toomey is better in your post. 100 bucks I could get a radiator for a car for that, and thats only the difference in the price! I got my Toomey radiator from Art Designed Motorsports for $360.
