well if your engine has no leak and your not lean and your carbs are synched, put it together and run it. Make sure you plug chop it just after it’s running to make sure it’s not lean. possibly you had a untorqued head causing an air leak. Whats everyone else think?1 point

Pro Tip - Clean the outside of the motor before opening it up. I cut a slit in a rag and put the rods through it to cover the open cases. Been doing that ever since dealing with cageless wrist bearings on jetskis. Its no good trying to fish those out of a case.1 point

Ok synch your carbs now. You have two different plug readings. Check your jet sizes make sure they match and air flow your carbs. The tool is worth the $35. You can also use SouthTexasbwebsite he shows how to do it1 point
