  1. He has several very valid reasons to be discouraged with these money pits that we play with, but I have no business expressing those reasons on here.

  4. Ditch the Dyna for OEM and a plate. You can do severe damage running a plate with advance and an advance curve at the same time. It's just way to much timing. You could run your plate at Zero and let the Dyna do it all, but with out the software and a lap top, you have no way of knowing what the curves are. Dynas certainly have their place, but it's on race bikes only when someone is able to spend the hours on a Dyno getting it programmed.

  5. Good people for sure... Just like Josh, but people's priorities change and with his recent track record, we can't blame him. Hopefully he get his trash heap sorted out and makes an epic return though.

  6. I haven't talked to him in a few weeks. I know the reasons he is discouraged also. But I'm not sure he'll get back into it. I for sure hope he does. One of the coolest cats I know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. Id start with syncing carbs first, using a tool is really the best way to get them perfect at idle. you can get em pretty close with out it, but syncing them at idle is with a tool is best. like mull said cleaning carbs and syncing would be a good place to start. https://www.amazon.com/Latest-Rage-Deluxe-Carburetor-Airflow/dp/B00CMC57R0/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1507940497&sr=8-4&keywords=carb+sync+tool -how I usually rule out an electrical problem is I will first trim back the wires on the secondary leads so the are fresh -then ohm test all electrical components with multi meter (stator, coil, plug caps etc) check wireharness. are you just breaking this motor in?

  9. Buy the water repellant outwears and be done. I would not spray anything on the outerwear. Usually any spray that is water repellant will be an oil based product. Chances are it will collect dust much fast and clog them up. Dont be a cheap fuck.
