I`ve just brought a road legal banshee and man does this thing fly, I had a modified cannondale speed before this and this thing would blow it away, I got it from a dealer who new no history, I mean is it normal to wheelie in the first 5 gears, when the powerband kicks in its like all hell breaks loose would you say the engine is tuned, from the outside all i can see is fmf fattys and big k&n in air box

It is probably modded yes if it is pulling wheelies into 5th gear. You don't know what else is done to it other than FMF's and K&N?

Post some pictures up of the engine, carbs, intake, etc and we might be able to spot some more things for you

Yes I would say theres something else done, with just the FMF's and K&N filter on mine I could easily pull third gear wheelies, but higher gears it really took some effort. I don't think I could lift it in fifth. Like okbeast says it may have a 12t sprocket or maybe some porting done.

Yes some effect, but 5 gear wheelies, not that much. Im bankin on the gearing unless the guy just wanted the sleeper look.
