So I got home today and found some red drips under my banshee on the garage floor...I just about had a heart attack when I found the red liquid dripping from the bottom case bolts thinking it was gear saver oil dripping out. :ermm:

A little searching and turns out when I cleaned the filters last night the K&N oil dripped onto the case and out the middle hole underneath the intakes. :banghead: :shoothead: :banghead: I didn't even think I got that much one there!

Moral to the story...don't be a retard like me and over-oil your filters!

Hey Brian, I did that exact same thing a couple months ago. Did you use the aerosol spray can oil? It's really easy to put too much on. Now your banshee might run shitty because it will be rich...

I probably put too much oil on my foam filters because I really soak them down good, but then I squeeze all the excess oil out really well. I just want to make sure that everywhere is covered good. Probably a waste of oil/money but worth it for peace of mind.

The K&N on my Shee I just lightly coat. Yeah it's easy to get too much on them.
