The people who had it beat the shit out of it a arm bushings are gone ball joints plastics are fucked they just destroyed it. Its nice to know we have it back but the pukes who stole it probably wont be caught. DICKS! Quote

If so i smell a lawsuit! they found some guy on it in a state forest rant he vin and it came back stolen the guy had a false bill of sale so they released him and i think are going for the guy who sold it to him if the name is not fake so hopefully it will all work out and i can get some money to rebuild it Quote

locogato11283 Posted May 20, 2008 Report Posted May 20, 2008 sorry man you arent gonna get shit.. i had a mower stolen one time. it was gone for a couple years. police 2 hours away called me and said they had it.. so i drove 2 hours to get it to find out i had to pay a towing bill of $150 bucks to get my OWN fuckin mower. the guy who had it went to court and they wanted me to come testify. i asked the prosecuting attorney what i would get out if it.. such a reimbursement for driving there, plus wear and tear on the mower, the towing money etc.. she said i wouldnt be able to get anything. i was like, then why the fuck would i drive back 2 hours to testify?? i was like you know he had it, what the fuck you need me for.. Someone can steal your ride and they can catch them with it, but they can't be prosecuted for the crime even though they had the stolen item. A person can make shit up and they don't have any proof, but yet you're the one that has to prove it didn't happen. So much for innocent until proven guilty.................... :shoothead: Quote

Realistically though...yer not gettin' shit from the guilty, you're better off investing in chains/vicious dogs/firearms. Especially if it was done by juveniles, the juvenile law is beyond ridiculous, they can literally get away with murder (two years in tha county? please). jharader Posted May 21, 2008 Report Posted May 21, 2008 Always blows when you get robbed like that, we had a 89 lt250 that was fully redone down to the frame! and i mean just bought the frame, everything was new except the swingarm, over 10 invested, came home one night and the garage door was kicked in, someone stole that, a 93 blaster a couple hunting bows, trolling motor, tools.... man i was in tears over it, luckily the banshee was on blocks waiting for new tires and rims!! Needless to say we found the blaster a week later, wiring harness was destroyed and the plastic was missing, took a major slap in that face on that one. Goodluck though, people like that will get theres in the end they always do. Quote
