kawiking Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 well, i love this forum because there's alot of great people on here. i know we get off topic and have a good time on here, but ive learned alot about banshee's from alot of great people on this forum. ive asked alot of ?s and im sure i'll probably ask alot more..... no bodies ever made me feel stupid for not knowing some basic stuff. i started a thread about running a stock cyln 4-mill (drag ported)vs 4 mill cub. i hade alot of members put in there imput. ive had a set of stock cyln drag ported cylns... but wanted a cub ,but didnt want to spend the cash. well i broke down to day and called jeff (F.A.S.T.) and told him to set me a 4-mill cub to the side,i'll prob be getting it next week. id just like to say thanks to kiel, dajogejr,badassbanshee479,jeff (FASTOYS) and odaen for throwing me some great imput and dealing with alot of my ?s. i was really wanting to run my stockers and throw down with some cubs, which im sure i could of ,but with alot more mods. i took their advice and just went with the bolt on cub. im sure im going to be glad i did. so thanks to everybody that helped me out and put up with all my ?s...... i hate seeing some of these new member bad mouth some of the old one's because of their knowledge. they may call it cocky or whatever..... but ive had alot of these older forum members help me out alot and if they dont know something they will try and find out. ive also asked some of the older forum members to do feedback checks for me..... so , id just like to say thanks to banshee hq for all the fun and great help this forum provides. kawiking rico Quote
BansheeKid15 Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 Yea, i followed that whole thread about the stock cylinder vs. the cub. I didnt know what a tripple port was... and i found out. Ive been on this forum for more than a year, and im really impressed with the knowledge that i have gained by reading/posting here. Without most of you guys i would have been lost on porting and suspension... and my bike would have stayed stock longer (then again my account would still have a good amount of money... but who needs money??) I remember coming onto the forums... and asking dumb questions, we have all done it. Sure they gave me a hard time, but they answered my questions and i learned. Kind of like an initiation. Despite some of the silly shit talking thats been going on lately I agree that overall HQ is one hell of a place.. Have learned a ton and I hope I have contributed atleast some.. Its kinda weird that I have made friends with people I have never shakin the hand of.. But I don't know what else to call people who have helped me out so much or be so willing to help with anything between my bike or personal life.. wacko2000 Posted February 2, 2008 Report Posted February 2, 2008 Im agree 100 %..This site is great, when i started my rebuild I did so much reading and asked some questions, I gained so much knowledge from the site its scary....I def enjoy coming on the HQ following all the new topics and stuff.. Its actually very impressive, that some of you guys kno some much about banshee motors and what not...... I def have to say thanks aswell to all that have helped me with my porting,jetting,suspenion....etc questions... Thanks HQ Quote

If you treat people the way you wanna be treated you wont have to worry about anything. I love this site an have been a member since 06, I finally bought a new shee last year an have been hooked since, this site has givin me alot of helpful information an givin me an idea of what im gonna do to my shee.
