They want the big dollar cases and usually will not be interested in small claims unless you pay up front. You would probably end up losing alot in lawyers fees. As far as him going to jail for not delivering the goods I also doubt that will happen. It sucks that there are companies out there that treat customers this shitty. Keep us posted not true, most lawyers for smal claims will take your cases to court against businesses with nothing up front. And as far as losing in lawyer fees, there are TONS of lawyers that you dot pay a dime unless you win, in which case you sue him for those fees as well. And if a judge rules in your favor and orders him to pay 1800 he has to pay the court. not you. from there you get your money. (at least thats how it works out here) and if he doesnt pay the court he goes to jail simple as that. Quote

Especially because your letting some douche just walk away with your money. If its not about the money any more, do it for the principle of this guy screwing you.
