tnr Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 I have some Toomey T-4's on my shee and all I hear is about how bad they are? I am in the process of breakin in the moter after a fresh top end rebuild, so I haven't seen them perform. I am just looking for everyones personal opinions on these pipes, and the brutal honesty is the best. Thanks for tour help. Quote
shanYE west Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 I say run'em if ya got'em! Try them for yourself and see how you like them.. Anything is a upgrade over the stock pipes. Quote
Swaie Posted January 20, 2008 Report Posted January 20, 2008 I run the t-5 and from what I get from this fourm is that tomey is one of the best for banshee's. But I don't know anything about the t-4's. Give them a shot. Like fouledout said got to be better than stock Quote

Like fouledout said got to be better than stock The guy that had the bike before me said they pull pretty strong, but it was a pain to get the plugs out cause the pipes run straight across. To me they kind of resemble a CPI with a smaller chamber. Just was curious if anyone is running them or did in the past. I cant seem to find any info at all. Thanks for all your help. Quote
skylor Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Can you get some pics? I've heard a little here and there about T-4's never seen em before though kinda curious as to what they look like thanks. sorry for busting into your post. Quote
tnr Posted January 21, 2008 Author Report Posted January 21, 2008 No problem, here is a pic of them. They have the same silencers as the T-5's. Quote
skylor Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Hey thanks alot man. they look nice should work well but ihni Quote
BansheeRider71 Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 I run them, Toomey has been around since the 80's an has been making pipes for the RZ/Banshee since them they specialize in making pipes for that motor their products are great. They will prolly be a little different from T-5's & T-6's but still a hell of a lot better than stock, Im gettin T-5's. Quote

skylor Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 I am a bit slow at times, sometimes border line short bus. So please help me, but ihni??? Oh I just like the look of the bends and expansion chamber looks like they would have a nice powerband. Plus toomey has nice quality if you were worried about that. Quote
chevrolet banshee Posted January 21, 2008 Report Posted January 21, 2008 Hey man its not what we like its what you like and can afford. I have some old ass fmf pipes But i like them thay have a lot of low end pull, And thats all i can afford. Soon i will buy a set of T-5's. Chevshee Quote
tnr Posted January 21, 2008 Author Report Posted January 21, 2008 I keep seeing different posts how T-4's suck etc... I was just trying to figure out why. No low end, crap up top, make powerband terrible, or whatever. I got quite a few more upgrades before I start worrying about getting new pipes. Need to get a cool head, lock out clutch, radiator, and the list goes on. Skylor, what I was trying to figure out is what "ihni" stands for, like I said, I am border line short bus... Quote
tnr Posted January 21, 2008 Author Report Posted January 21, 2008 I have no idea Told you I was border line short bus, damn abbreviations.. Quote
