BING CARBS?

HEY I AM NEW TO THE BOARD AND I WAS JUST WONDERING IF ANYBODY KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT THE BING CARBS. I GUESS THEY RUN THEM ON HOME BUILD AIRPLANES WITH SMALL MOTORS AND KIND OF SELF ADJUST JETTING UP TO LIKE 24000 FEET

I have never herd of that type of carb. Do you have a link to it some where on the net to explain how it works or what it does.

 

By the way you might want to turn your caps lock off because when you type in all capital letters it means your yelling.

bing carb is a simple carb with high and low speed adjustments only, very simple no good for banshee

they also came on the older (85-90) ktm 495 two strokes, i have 2 of hose dinosuars in the garage, the carbs were made of magnesium, verry simple design.

sorry about the caps lock. i did a google search for them and they have a web site but it was not real helpful. From what i understand there is a offroad setup and then these aircraft set ups and they have a vac advance so the airplanes don't run out of air and bog down. i was just wondering if anybody had ever heard of using the aircraft style ones cause the racing i would like to use them for you gain 5000 feet in elevation in twelve minutes so you worry about burning up on the bottom and losing alot of power on the top

powerjets set up to be remotely adjustable somehow?? I'd find a mechanical engineering department at a local college and have one of the students come up with something. Jet it for the mid to top of the mountain with your normal jets and crack open the power jets down low to add extra fuel, then as you go up the mountain close them off more and more.
