i didnt see pipes in your sig but im assuming you got them.

you should be around 150-155 main, 45-55 pilot, CEL needle 4th clip, air screw 2.5 turns

that will get you very close. depending on the temp you will have to adjust a little.

Where are you from?

C series needles and a number 6 slide will get you close with the numbers above. I commonly use a CGM needles, middle notch, #6 slides, 55 pilots and 155 mains.

Okay I don't really know how to explain this but I will try the best I can. Here goes... I took my carbs up to the local four wheeler shop and they mic'd the inside of the carb and one was one bigger than the other looked like someone was trying to do a home made port job. Next is that I looked at the slides and I noticed that in the center of the slide there is a little lip in the middle. Both of the slides close fully but the other doen't seem go down as far as the other. Is there a difference in the one used for the choke?

You may have two different slides or your carbs are not synchronized. Pull the slides out and there should be a number on the bottom. Likely either a 4K or 6K. They should be the same and like I mentioned above the jetting numbers listed here will work well with a number 6 slide. Otherwise your carbs are out of synch and you will need to make sure the tops are on tight, then use the adjuster on the carb caps to make sure both carbs hit wide open at the same time. Stick your finger in the carbs to make sure the hit the tops at the same time. Back out the idle screws all the way and turn them in until slight resistance is felt, then turn them in with equal turns to set the idle.

Okay I will take a look at the slides to check the number. When I put these carbs on lets say I need to ajust the idle or choke. Will I have to adjust the idle/choke on both or will one choke work.

If it is cold you you might have to pull both choaks to get it to start. In the winter I have to pull both of them on my PWK's.

You really need to get a carb sync gauge from fast. You use it to gauge how much air each carb is pulling in at idle. That way you can adjust both Idles to pull the same amount of air.

Then you give it a litte throttle and keep it steady ( I just adjust all the slack out of the cabe) Then you check the carbs with the gauge again, and adjust the carb tops untill they read the same from carb to carb. That makes sure that the cable is synced. So both carbs opean up at the same time, the same amount.

Each carb will have a pull knob for the choke. You can turn the top of the pull knob to adjust the idle. Just look on the left side of the big end of the carb, there will be a drilled hole. Make sure the opening is the same on each carb, then adjust each carb equally from there. All this can be done with out the need of fancy tools.

PJs are shit man, IMO - Sorry i just had terrible luck with mine. I shortly switched for pwks and love them. They are just a cheap carb, and are really touchy. But yes, WES will stear you in the direction. He got mine runnin close but they just wouldnt ever work right.
