Man this comes up alot. I think they are junk, alot of people will disagree with me. Unless you dont know how to screw with carbs or have very little knowledge with Banshees dont get one. Whats the difference when your WOT, which you should be :evil:

In my opinion this is one of the greatest tools I have used on my banshee. I borrowed one from a friend, now I want to buy one myself. You can tune the carbs really nat's ass close with this thing!

The one that jeff@ F.A.S.T sells great little tool. Once you set your carbs up Index your slide screw with white paint (bench mark) Youll always have a reference point.

I 100% Disagree... Having your carbs out of sync can be the culprit of many problems.. and its just a fact that you will not get your carbs synced by eyeing it... you may get lucky and get them close but looking at a gap thats .1 inch differance your eye will not see. but the tool will messure the differance in the amount of air passing.

 

its by far a nessessary tool of anyone with a multipul carb motor

Listen to this dude! They are the shit, I thought I was really fuckin good, then I bought a carb tool to check it out, turns out I was off by a lot, the bike ran a lot stronger, and I expect the build on the motor to last a lot longer too.

Saying you can sync your carbs perfectly without this tool is like saying you can torque your cylinder head down by feel without a torque wrench...

 

I would consider myself pretty good with carbs, setting them up, etc.

I have sat there for 1/2 hour eyeballing carbs idle, movement, etc.

 

This takes all the guess work out of it...period.

And all I do is idle, rev it a few times and then go WOT for a few seconds...and I still use it.

The carbs have to be in-sync to jet the bike correctly. I use to use a drill bit to set the hight on the slides. To get a bench mark. It's not the wright way. Or accurate way. Jeffs tool works off the CFM per cylinder. Thats correct way. BIG defferance.

Yeah, I bought one and I think it works great. It takes all the guess work out of it and it is a lot faster to do the job. Jeff told me that it was a good investment and I trust what he says and also gives me piece of mind to know that the CFM's are dead nuts on...............

Well i just put a set of Kehin 35 mm carbs and didn't use on of your fancy carb sync tool and it runs just fine the jetting i perfect.

 

saved me $50

It's not really about jetting...................it has do with ensuring the carbs are both in the same position at any given point in the slide travel. :geek:

It's because the Boost Bottle gave you the Force....the force is strong in this one...

 

As said, it doesn't do a thing for jetting, it's about two carbs feeding two cylinders the same amount of fuel/air at the same time.
