jaredvh Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 I know I am supposed to search before I post, and I'm sure somebody else has a thread going about these but I'm having alot of troubles with this search on here. So...I apologize in advance. Anyways...My question is, Do these things actually work or are they just a money grab? If somebody could give me some answers, or at least a link to a thread with some answers it would be GREATLY appreciated. Quote

moneybags Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 My K&N lid has a outerwear filter that goes over the K&N filter. It does use vlecro to hold the outerwears in place but mine is rock solid. Just do a little prep work befor appling the velcro. Quote

chevy7398 Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 i got my k&n lid for avout 20 buks less than that, with the k&n the whole lid is a filter, that thing still sucks unfiltered air through the stock opening and the extra filter part is only about half of the total area of the lid, go with the k&n over that any day Quote
Flanagans twin Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 i agree! the k&n pulls a ton more air thru and its k&n filtered, if you are going to do not so muddy/wet/dirt riding, then go with pods. Quote
shee4speed Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 This is the airbox lid I am thinking of buying....Airbox Lid I'll sell you mine for 40.00$ shipped. Quote
