I know I am supposed to search before I post, and I'm sure somebody else has a thread going about these but I'm having alot of troubles with this search on here. So...I apologize in advance.

Anyways...My question is, Do these things actually work or are they just a money grab?

If somebody could give me some answers, or at least a link to a thread with some answers it would be GREATLY appreciated.

Also came across an outerwears airbox lid. Anybody try these? I like the idea that they dont use velcro

My K&N lid has a outerwear filter that goes over the K&N filter. It does use vlecro to hold the outerwears in place but mine is rock solid. Just do a little prep work befor appling the velcro.

i got my k&n lid for avout 20 buks less than that, with the k&n the whole lid is a filter, that thing still sucks unfiltered air through the stock opening and the extra filter part is only about half of the total area of the lid, go with the k&n over that any day
