Well I tested my compression cold and got approx 95psi (left) and 105psi (right). Then I took it for a rip, warmed the engine up and tested again. I got 80psi (left) and 90psi (right)... Can somebody tell me if this means my top end is on its way out? I seem to be having an issue with my left cylinder not firing properly. At low RPM's it doesnt seem to be firing but once I rev it up it fires. Through 1st and 2nd I have lack of power but into 3rd it goes like hell. When I pull the plugs the left plug is soaked. I'm running proper jetting for my setup (or so I've been told). And the right side plug is a nice brown so jetting should be fine. I just replaced my reeds so that shouldn't be my issue either. I don't know if maybe the compression is too low that the fuel isn't igniting on the left side..

My spark arrestors are full of carbon and I had a flooding issue on my left cylinder so the left pipe is soaked. I was wondering if there was a way of cleaning them out a little bit??

My A-arm bushings need to be replaced. I pulled off one A-arm but cant seem to get the old bushings out. Does anybody know an easy way of doing this? THANKS

Well.. I just pulled the stator cover off and there was some water underneath.. Should I order a new rubber seal and a new stator as well? What should I be looking for when buying a stator?

Forgot to mention, but its probably obvious.. The exhaust coming out of the right side is hot where as the left is cool. I pulled the end cap off of both spark arrestors (stock pipes). The left side was soaked inside with carbon buildup. The right side was dry with the same buildup.

It appears the left cylinder isn't even getting hot at low RPM's. I idled my shee for about 10 mins with brand new plugs.. the left side came out white and the plug was just warm. The right side plug was normal. And it was hot. I pulled the plugs and checked spark and its sparking on both sides. When I ride it it has no power through 1st and 2nd but once I hit 3rd it takes off hard.

Could somebody send me a link so i can find out how to gap my stator?

I've heard a number of things such as top end, CDI, coil, TORS....pretty much sums up anything that could go wrong with a banshee so I thought I'd ask for opinions and get some more specific ideas. Also, would it be possible that it's just plugs and when they get hot they don't spark very well? Thanks for your help!!

When I start my shee to go riding all is fine, it runs great and then after about 20 mins of riding it starts to have a miss to it. It just gets worse until finally I have to keep it revved pretty high to keep it running. It won't idle, it just dies out.

I have the exact same problem, Last time this happened I just replaced plugs but you said you already tried that. This time replacing my plugs made no difference. Possibly something to do with the timing?

I was riding home yesterday and my RPMs were jumping all over the place. It would jump up high and stick there then would drop and the quad would sputter when I gave it gas to go. Once it started going again the throttle would stick up high and do the same thing all over again. I am still running my TORS, could that be part of the problem? I also noticed that it was sputtering a bit down low before and I figured I would just have to adjust my idle. I was out riding in the mud and a little bit of water/snow. Could I have gotten something wet that would cause this? Sorry that my explanation kind of sucks but its hard to explain what's happening.

I think it's an engine popping sound..

My banshee recently started making sort of a popping sound when I accelerate. Seems almost like its losing power slightly too. Its not super loud when it does it. Don't really know how else to describe it. Any help is appreciated!!

I was looking at dropping the front sprocket to a 12 tooth but I was just wondering if that was overdoing it. I want a little more low end but don't want to lose all of my top end. What is an ideal sprocket setup that people are running?

Alright, I decided to attempt this today and as soon as i put the quad on its side gas poured out.....guess i gotta do it with an empty tank.....

Yea I filed a dispute but since I paid with paypal I have to go through them. I'll give the guy a few days (until tomorrow) and then I'll turn the dispute into a claim and hopefully get my money back it was only $30 but it still is a piss off.

I ordered some brake pads for my friend's Wolverine on the 16th of January. About 2 weeks after that I got an email from Extreme Shop asking me to leave feedback which I still have not done yet. Anyways, I never recieved my brake pads and it's been over a month. I sent him 3 e-mails before filing a dispute with PayPal. He hasn't responded to a single one of my emails. Little bit ticked off right now... The guy has alot of good feedback too which confuses me. Anybody else ever dealt with them?

The rear shock on my shee squeaks really bad. Is this common on banshees? It sounds like a dry bushing or something. Is this possible? I thought it may have just needed greasing but that didnt seem to help. Any ideas?
