I've already bought the kit off ebay but should i try find a shift star too. any advice appreciated

I heard from another guy that used both mods at the same time that they didn't

work very good together.

Made shifting so easy that it was changing gears when hitting big bumps.

I dont know ? Thats what I was told.

i used both together with the stock shifter and it was alot better, then i bought a prodesign shifter and now it really feels good. the stock shifter flexes to much. with the 3 things combined its in my opinion its night and day difference for a banshee.

I have the modified Shift drum (alba sells them) and the shifter star.

Shift star helps a bunch but that shift drum makes a night and day difference.

Every banshee i build is going to get one of those!

Not tryin to argue with you. But you don't have problems with it jumping gears

when you skippin whoop tops ?

I was thinking of using both together, but I dont want the fucker downshifting on

me when I am really hammering the whoops.

never once had a problem with it jumping out of gear. if u look at the design of it the one place it can jump out easy is neutral. when its in gear the roller sits in the belly of each star. its only suppose to change gears easier when the shifter is pushed up or down beacause of the rounded corners. if your not hitting the shifter it def should not be poping out of gear.
