APE HANGERS

almost every banshee that i've seen pictures of has really high handle bars, some are even higher than the stock pieces of shit and then there's the extra height of the risers and i just want to know WHAT IS THE POINT??

 

when i ride i hang off the side almost sitting on my foot to keep as much weight as possible on the inside for faster cornering, so i run mx style 1 1/8" fatbars(almost flat) to help my positioning and shorten the distance i have to reach.

 

so why the ape hangers? is it to encourage you to sit up for a more comfortable position or what?

 

if you wanted to be comfortable you should have bought one of those lazy ass 4stroke things!!!

Yeah, I've seen ape hanger's on Harley's. But I have never seen them on a shee............

you may be just 4 foot tall but there are people of a greater elevation on here that need the raised handle bars in order to ride comfortably. i am just 5' 8" and the stock bars are kinda on the lowside for me especially standing up. This is especially true when duning or my favorite, jumping. Why would it be any different on a 4 stroke, last time i checked bar risers were NOT a 2 stroke/banshee specific.

Hey BSHEE400, there is lots of different styles of riding, some require standing. Try standing straight up on your shee and grabbing the bars without slouching. Cant, me neither thats why I have bar risers and many other people too. Ape hangers might be a little over kill
