Snopczynski Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Never seen a fan on a Banshee. I do know how to install a battery in one and convert the charge system over to dc though. Quote
MIKETHECOOLMAN Posted August 28, 2007 Author Report Posted August 28, 2007 wouldnt that help to cool it in tight woods and stuff? Quote
375hp banshees Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 wouldnt that help to cool it in tight woods and stuff? strapped a proto type on my old one to see & it got stolen. it worked, just ugly (on the outside of the rad. guard) ...you need small computer (hi flow) fans so you can put on the inside (4, 2 on each side of the steer stem & do dc convertion or battery or both ...SOMEDODY is suposed to post a how to & hasn't done it yet ... MIKETHECOOLMAN Posted August 28, 2007 Author Report Posted August 28, 2007 (edited) i have 2 small computer type fans for mine but they are made to run off AC. im trying to find 2 more. yeah i think im going to put four computer fans and hard wire them to batteries and put a switch so when it gets hot i can flick them on, then when the batteries go dead i will just replace them. to find fans just go to google and type in computer fans and some websites come up that have them for like 5 dollars Edited August 28, 2007 by MIKETHECOOLMAN Quote

Justintoxicated Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 It has been done before but most people find it easier to just replace the radiator with a better one. Other things that will help your cooling just as much are using products like Engine Ice. Someone also got some nice temp drops simply by making a shroud that forced all the air to go through the radiator instead of around the sides of it. Good luck. Quote
Snopczynski Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Be aware, you get a pc fan wet or grit in it and it will stop working. Quote
97banshee Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Yea i got some grit in the PC fan i mounted on my blaster for cooling an it stopped working. Quote
racer Posted August 28, 2007 Report Posted August 28, 2007 Plus a big ass radiator is a lot cooler looking than some ugo fan. Quote
BellicoseBanshee Posted August 31, 2007 Report Posted August 31, 2007 This guy races the I.C.E. series, his fan set-up looks cool, but I don't know how practical it would be anywhere else..... Those fans did not help solve this problem..... Quote
