I think the grand total for everything I had done last time I went to PC which was... Frame, A-Arms, +6 Swingarm, footpegs, grab bar, rear hubs, rear sprocket hub, rear brake hub, front engine mounts, lower engine mounts... to sand-blast and prep everything and plug/tape holes, etc the grand total was like $600 something if I remember right. That's a candy coat (chrome base, candy blue, clear) on the frame, which is considered a two-layer coating and a double layer of the neon green on the suspension and other parts. So everything ended up being two layers. they baked the green shit on once, applied a second coating and baked it again...

Just as a side-note. I will never PC anything again. It doesn't hold up worth a shit. Any little rock or anything that hits it chips the shit off and carb cleaner that gets on any of it eats it right off. Same with brake clearner and the spots where methanol got on any of it it dulled the color and made it look like shit. I can go out and smack the frame with the handle of a screwdriver and it will chip right off.

Rhino-lining and chrome are the only way to go if you want durability. ...and rhino-lining can color-match pretty good. I'm sand-blasting a frame right now and taking it to get lined soon as its done. The green suspension parts and shit are getting chromed soon as I get a chance as well.

Kaotik1 here on the HQ does PC and I've had a couple things PC'd by him and they are doing pretty good so far and the quality is awesome as hell as him himself is a great guy to deal with. My '99 has PC'd frame, swingarm and a-arms and are standing up pretty damn good. No chipped as of yet. BigRed was right as far as the carb cleaner etc...I was cleaning my carbs and a dripped a little on the swingarm and it cam right off....other than that the PC is standing up to my abuse.

I don't ride in dirt, so I think I'm in a different boat. The PC has been really good to me... I had a ton of stuff PC'ed frame, +6 swinger, arms, tie rods, hubs, stem, carrier, bumper, etc. and it was $350... but I didn't do any custom colors... Just black.

yeah the breakdown part is done yourself... taking the shee apart is fairly easy if you have good idea how to handle tools and stuff and if you have a basic mechanical inclination. I was afraid of taking the shee apart too but after doing some stuff to mine I can build one up from boxes and a frame. The Clymers manual is real handy to have.

I think I'd be taking that shit back. I have my frame done and its held up really well, even when brake fluid sat on it for a few days.

Wow Jared you paid a premium I would think at most 400. Here in KC you could have had that done for about $250. If your PC is chipping real bad it was undercooked call them they should re do it for sure. Solvents will remove PC so be careful but paint would come off faster. I know you
