00BANSHEEIN07 Posted May 10, 2007 Report Posted May 10, 2007 I think I should be able to beat my buddy on his new 700r raptor bad, but i can barely beat him in top gear. i have t-6 pipes, twin air intake, boost bottle, v force reeds, tor cap kit and bored .010 over. i have stock carbs. i am currently running 270 jets. what can i do to increase my accelleration. You'll probably need the port job to start pulling larger front gears and runnin' with the 700. Most of your mods are small and some don't even do anything, but I won't pour salt in that wound again. Anyway, do more research and you will figure out what type of riding you do and what types of mods you can afford and want to go with. The cub is really, really nice, but it's a drag motor and you really need to want to use it as such. Quote
