locogato11283 Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 They have already started, Cro Cop and Rampage Jackson have already fought they are from Pride. What is cool is fighters from both UFC and Pride can hold belts in both leagues. Lets see how smart you UFC guys are, click on my avatar and look at my personal photo, which UFC fighter is in that photo with me. cro cop and rampage didnt have open contracts with pride at the time they switched to UFC. plus, they came into UFC before pride was bought out. heres a couple articles talking about how they will remain totally separate for now. Article 1 Article 2 Quote

bansheeryder_69 Posted May 7, 2007 Report Posted May 7, 2007 i like to see a fight won either way as long as its a good fight. these dance around the ring and lay around with each other like youre on a picnic doesnt do it for me. i like to see continuous action leading up the the end of the fight. WORD. I hate the fights where they don't get after it like arlovski's fight in 70...GAY!!! I also think that they should allow head-butting again cause that would just give me some more sick knockouts to get excited over hehe and it would liven up the ground that much more. Now another topic I can't wait to watch Liddel knock rampage's howling ass out haha! what do you guys think? Quote

That guy is a pretty damn good fighter.. When it comes to having allot of heart Evan Tanner pops to mind. That guy can take one massive beating and just keep commin.. Cro Cop and Rampage were signed quite a while before THE FRATITA'S(sp) bought PRIDE.. They are still seperate orgs.. RIPPEN Quote

RIPPEN Yeah we went to UFC 64 with him and believe it or not only about 5 people recognized him. But it was badass. Quote
gipperz Posted May 8, 2007 Report Posted May 8, 2007 If you asked the Gracie family about choke moves you might get choked yourself. It is a very affective move and if you get caught with a choke well.............you'll know you made a mistake and your opponent capitalized on it. I say its all fair. Quote

The last time I think the Gracies fought was when Matt Hughes destroyed Ryoce about a year ago.. But I don't follow them closely so Iam not 100% sure.. also, if i remember correctely that back in the day they used to use the "GI" (sp?) to their advantage at times. Yeah, worked really well for them because it helped with their grip.. I havn't seen anyone wear on in a long ass time so Iam guessing they are not allowed anymore.. RIPPEN Quote
