the first time i have driven a banshee

tonight i hooked up the carbs to the banshee and finaly got to drive it. i did about 2 dughnuts and now im grounded for the weekend. See i picked it up for free, from a father's friend who was in to bikes more then atv. this thing was beat to shit though!!! the air filters where never cleaned and it is a 2000. the carbs looked so shitty that i bought some of ebay and k & N pods on. the rear swing arm had barings blone on both ends. was planning on puting a +4 arm but decided to play it safe and got a stock of ebay. new handle bars, line, brake pclutch line, throttle ads (had to bleed all the brakes), new chain, sproket, new sliders from cacade , the upper arm was bent so replaces, the rear brake leaked through rubber boot so replaced with block off, half of the screws where striped, new clutch lever, all fluids where replaced...... BUT I GOT IT FOR FREE!!!!!

 

TO CLEAN IT TOOK ABOUT 15 ROLLS OF PAPER TOWEL

 

 

THe five months of work would have never of been posible without all of you who replied to me (minus the one about the bong A JOKE) :biggrin: BUt REALY thanks !!!!!!

i just turned 16 but my concerned nebors had a talk with me beacause i took the spark arestors off and now its too lould for them!!!! and all i can say fuck them. :biggrin:

holy shit bud, you are in for a rude awakening. if you don't give them a little respect in relation to the noise and whatever, they will be all over your ass everytime you get your shee out. there WILL be a cop waiting nearby when you head down the street. if your gonna leave it LOUD, at least respect them to the point of only ripping around at a decent time of day, not early mornings or late at night. if you got grounded for doing doughnuts, i'm sure when the neighbors start complaining to your parents about the noise and so on, your seat time will be almost extinct. you don't want that bud!
