ever hear of K&S gaskets... what do you think of them?

DONT buy them. I did when i did my last rebuild and every single one leaked and it caused me alot of headache. I bought all OEM gaskets after that and it didnt leak a drop of anything. K&S = junk... just my .02

what about the tusk gasket kits anyone use them ?

The Tusk base gaskets are made out of paper! Not medal. They will rip and get sucked into your cylinders! That's why they are so cheap! OEM are good gaskets but too damn expensive! If you are going to buy aftermarket, only get Wiseco or Cometic! Those two are the best!

You have to watch out for those medal gaskets that are masquerading as metal gaskets.
