87_shee Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 ever hear of K&S gaskets... what do you think of them? DONT buy them. I did when i did my last rebuild and every single one leaked and it caused me alot of headache. I bought all OEM gaskets after that and it didnt leak a drop of anything. K&S = junk... just my .02 Quote
yamaha04 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 what about the tusk gasket kits anyone use them ? Quote
bansheeryder21 Posted March 7, 2007 Report Posted March 7, 2007 what about the tusk gasket kits anyone use them ? The Tusk base gaskets are made out of paper! Not medal. They will rip and get sucked into your cylinders! That's why they are so cheap! OEM are good gaskets but too damn expensive! If you are going to buy aftermarket, only get Wiseco or Cometic! Those two are the best! Quote
FireHead Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 what about the tusk gasket kits anyone use them ? I used a water pump gasket from them once. I can't complain. Quote

DIRTMAN350 Posted March 8, 2007 Report Posted March 8, 2007 I highly recomend oem but when in a pinch you gotta do what ya gotta do. whenever your talking about seperating coolant from crankcase oil I use oem gaskets Quote
