It's pretty obvious that it wont come out even, past that working it out in my head isn't worth my time. I am still waiting to hear wtf year 7 math is. I am thinking it might be where Canadian males have to get naked to count to 21. :yelrotflmao: Quote

If you go to college and get anyone one of several types of engineering or science degrees, you get to do things like multi-diferential calculus and quantum physics. Working out the square roots of large numbers in your head isn't that rough in the whole scheme of things. Quote

Thats where calculators Tape Measures and electronical micrometers (I do my stuff the cheater way with the Micrometers) :yelrotflmao: ect... Come in real handy. Quote
BansheeKid15 Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 I can attest to that being a machanical engineering major, thats nothing compaired to what i am going to be doing in calc 2 this year, and then i have calc 3 after it. lol Quote

Sure, computers, calculators, etc. help you doing your job (and mine) every day, but you pretty much need to know how to do the work by hand in the first place to ever be successful using the aforemention tools. Quote
