I'm no expert but I've heard the experts say the spacer is not the best way. Your port timing will be effected. The cylinder shoud be ported for the 4 mill. Buy a cub or a twister mini set up for the 4 mill. That would be the best way. Wait till someone who knows the right way to set yours up to reply.

get custom domes made. that spacer plate will give you another spot that could leak, which would blow your motor... what are you looking to do with that motor? drag race? trail ride? yeh, you'll need the jugs ported to accomidate the crank, and you'll need the 795 pistons wiseco sells for it too...

Make sure the crank is rewelded by a trusted builder, if it's a wiseco hot rod crank. The factory "Welds" have been known to be weak.

I also agree...get dome cut for it, get the 795 series pistons, and get the port timings matched.

Not a fan of the spacer plates myself.

Is the rod a 110 or 115, that will affect your entire setup?

ok..sohow much do u have to cut the domes...and do i "'need'' 759 pistons..as i have pretty brand new ones in there already. pro x and by port timming do u mean machine the exuaght ports to match the top of the piston when it is bdc? thanks

the 795 series is weisco's piston to fit the long rod crank.... pro x im sure has thier line to do the same... but i couldnt tell you what model piston that would be because i have never run theirs before...

You haven't told us if it is a long rod or not. If it is(115mm) then you need the 795's. If it isn't, you can run the pistons you have. Either way, you are going to have to cut the domes and have the cylinders ported. And that doesn't mean "machine the exuaght ports to match the top of the piston when it is bdc?"

You really need to talk to a builder. You can run the spacer and avoid haveing to cut the domes and port the jugs. It will not run near as well though. You will basically have the added stroke w/stock porting specs. You could get a lot more power than that out of a stock stroke by just porting the jugs.

I agree with that. I did not run the thick head gasket/spacer what ever you want to call it. I got my domes cut for the proper "squish". If you have stock porting it still should work just fine. Your changing the port timing of the cylinders the the 4mil thats the whole idea.
