The one on my arm that I lotioned all the time lost a ton of color from lotion,and the last one on my leg I never did a thing with and it looks just like it did when I got it. I wont put anything on my next one... just leave it alone. I agree with the lotion that it does something to the tat. The first tat I had gotten faded bad and I used the lotion. The 2nd one I just let scab up and the colors are still very bright. Been about 10 yrs since I had gotten them and only had to have the 1st one touched up. As John was on his way home from the tattoo parlor he saw a rest stop and decided he needed to stop and take a leak. He went to the restroom and looked down to admire his tattoo and he noticed, that when he was not erect, the only letters that were visible, were the W and the Y. Suddenly, a big black gentleman steps into the urinal beside John and John accidentally looked down at the guy and could not help but notice that he ALSO had the letters W and Y tattooed. So John said "Hey, I guess you have a girlfriend or wife named Wendy too." The guy looked confused and said, "What makes you think that?" John replied "Well I noticed the W and the Y tattoo -- so you don't have a girlfriend named Wendy?" The black guy laughed and responded, "No mon, that tattoo says "Welcome to Jamaica, Have a nice day." I have a tribal design going across the top of my shoulders and about a third of the way down my back. Have to have what i have done redone and get it finished due to the chick that did fucked it up bad. We had to do it in 2 sittings. The second and third sitting we did some of the coloring the coloring and one side scabbed up and lost all color in spots due to not putting as much lotion on. I used utter butter on one side and it looks like new still but she fucked that side up too..Will cost about $600 to have done so $$$ is being saved up. Very nice! :thumbsup: Here's mine. I haven't had one done in almost 4 years and I want another bad! lol Too bad I'm poor. I used Vaseline Dry Skin Intensive Care on all my tattoos. It has A&E in it and was recommended. All my tattoos scabbed regardless but I had no problems with any ink being removed. My first tattoo. I copied it off a tshirt I had but made the head a little sleeker. This is some flash off the wall. Don't be blinded by my white legs! My brother and I both have this same tattoo. I drew this one. It looked better on paper. :shoothead: My last one I had done. I drew this one too. The artist did the water stuff around it though.
