dajogejr Posted October 29, 2006 Report Posted October 29, 2006 Big Red 350X has a thread (it's even in his sig) about splitting the cases, step by step picture tutorial. Also...you'll replace both sets of gears, the shiftstar and the shift drum... Others may mod more too...so, ask whoever is going to do your overide tranny what parts you need to send in for core. Also, unless you're strict drag racing, I strongly recommend a dunable override vs. a traditional override... Quote
locogato11283 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 ive got duneable in my motors and both times the builders wanted the gears and the bottom case... Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted October 30, 2006 Report Posted October 30, 2006 you do know that if you go 1-5 over ride with 6th gear when you shift into 6th you have to come to a complete stop before you down shift back out of 6th or you will gernade the tranny. where do you run your bike at? Quote
