2006 Yamaha Banshee - Limited Edition

Ok on the yamaha site the 2006 Yamaha Banshee - Limited Edition is all black with silver flames. Its says noting about purple flames. I called a few dealers and the have new 06's but black and purple and i really dont want a bike with purple flames on it and i want the all black bike and it to be brand new. Has any one seen the black/silver Limited Edition banshee.

The 06 SE's are black with purple flames, I have one. You can't tell from the Yamaha pic but the flames are purple and the outline is silver. And, the paint is not all black, its actually a silver metallic black.

When I first saw the Yamaha pic I knew I wanted it. I didn't even goto any dealers to look at them. I just called and said save me one, I'll be there to pick it up. I was a little disappointed when I got there and saw the flames were purple and the paint wasn't ALL black (metallic silver in it) but it has since grown on me and now I think it looks great.

Take the stickers off! Dont forget, the grill shroud is a carbon fiber look. Kinda lame. Shoulda been all black. I went with Fullbores on my '06

I have the same banshee (06 SE) and the first thing i did was take the stickers off.

Well that just sucks. Guess i gotta look into another year banshee i just cant get my self to ride a bike with purple flames.

There is the 05 silver and purpleish-blue lightning, listed above, and there is the 06 black with purple ghost flameslisted above , and there is the 50th Anniversary, the silver and white is NOT an SE model its a regular color.

eh... to each is own, I think confederate flag decorations are lame. my first street bike was a cbr f3 purple and yellow. Dont care what yas think purple is a nice color imo.

I don't think there is anything wrong with the purple flames or any of the stickers on the banshee's, i just prefer to have mine off because i like the way it looks without them. To say that you are going to look for another year just becaue you don't like the colors is a little silly IMO, you could just take the stickers off for that matter.

Oh well if the flames are stickers then thats good ill just take them off then..and i didnt say there was anyhthing wrong with the purple flames i just dont like them JMO...
