i've got the stock sprockets right now,i want to go up 1 or 2 teeth in the front,how much will i notice with those changes.

it depends

,you will have longer shifts , some say you will loose torque but since you have the woods port it might not show that much . i run 15 38 for mx and seems to have more torque than stock because stock just spins everywhere. It also depends on what kind of tires you have.

i got holeshot hd's all the way around,i spin the tires all the time and i'am just running through the gears.so i was hoping to make the gears longer.

I am running 13/40 right now. I am running that because i have 22" tires and they are a bit harder to pull. But now that i have my new pipes and it pulls a lot better, im thinking of MAYBE going up to 14/40, when i get a new chain.

 

I think you will be good with 15/41, you will gain some speed on top and lose a bit of acceleration. I would say try it out and see if you like it or not. :beer: Also depends on what kind of riding you do.

its all gonna depend on what your motor can pull..i would start with one tooth and work from there. 16 tooth on a pretty much stock banshee is not gonna work very well...you need some power to pull gearing like that.

most of my riding is at my uncles ranch,rolling hills,some times an open creek bed,every now & then i will go up to the mountains.

You would probably be good with a 15, as Loco said, probably wouldnt want to go up to a 16.

run 15/41 and you will be fine if your hd's are 20"
