broke Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 Just looking for opinions for a durable trail tire that will see plenty of rocks, mud and roots. 22/7/10s for both models. Quote
ellison445 Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 I only run 2 types of front tires, Razr2 and Pursport bandits.. By far 2 of the best fron tires out there. Never had a flat and always have traction! Quote
dawarriorman Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 The GNCCs are kind of a narrow tire, and I'd bet a banshee would just spin with them. More of a 4 stroke oriented tire. The HD on the other hand, grips like crazy. Quote
ellison445 Posted September 15, 2006 Report Posted September 15, 2006 Spin with them???? I think he is talking about front tires :ermm: The GNCCs are kind of a narrow tire, and I'd bet a banshee would just spin with them. More of a 4 stroke oriented tire. streetbanshee Posted September 16, 2006 Report Posted September 16, 2006 the hd's front tire center tread tends to wear faster than the edges only if u run like a pound in it'll be even with the edges Quote
broke Posted September 17, 2006 Author Report Posted September 17, 2006 the hd's front tire center tread tends to wear faster than the edges only if u run like a pound in it'll be even with the edges I didn't really understand that, but thatnks for all the responses anyway. Has anyone ridden the 22" compared to the 23"? Quote

BaNsHeeJuNkEy Posted September 19, 2006 Report Posted September 19, 2006 Hey i am also looking to buy some new tires my self the hd's are kind of heavy don't know if that matters to you. but i have been looking at the xc's in 20x10x9 for back and 21x7x10 in the front and i do a lot of trail ridin my self. along with a little of everything elsa. but if that is all you are doing i would go with the Gncc's. they seem to be like the best two choices. any other op on these along with the one i added.
