Dinner Posted September 11, 2006 Report Posted September 11, 2006 I just bought some PC Pipes from a fellow HQ'r and they should be arriving soon. Once i get them on and get them tuned in ill report back to here. But from what iv read a lot of people like them/say they are good pipes. As already stated taking off the snorkle, and as long as you rejet properly, they will breath a lot better and you should notice a GOOD amount of difference over whatever you had before. Did you have Stock Pipes before you got these Pro's? If so you should be able to really feel them Quote
letsgetthisdone Posted September 12, 2006 Report Posted September 12, 2006 It could be ur gearing too. That 15t front sprocket you have listed in ur sig is gonna be to tall for the mods you are runnin. Put a stock size sprocket (14t) back on and u will prolly beat the craptor. Quote
olmick Posted September 12, 2006 Author Report Posted September 12, 2006 14 tooth is on there, i wanted to wait for the rest of my mods to put the 15 on there and try it Quote
.100_over Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 :baseball_wassat: Hmmmm.........three of my buds have craptors....oops i mean RAPTORS and i raced all three. They ate me otta the hole but i waxed that ass on top side...I was BONE-STOCK at the time...... Quote
Dinner Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 Installed my PC's and got her jetted in, and shee fricken RIPS. A hell of a lot better then those DG's Quote
csrmel Posted September 22, 2006 Report Posted September 22, 2006 are you revving it up enough between shifts? with any 2 stroke, it needs to be in the power range before it pulls hard. if youre shifting too early you wont be running in the range that the exhaust pipe works in. if i take my banshee and shift too low, say 4000 rpm's, my dads raptor 350 will beat it. Justintoxicated Posted September 23, 2006 Report Posted September 23, 2006 (edited) must be jetting and or the rider..Try to remove the whole lid and bump up the main...Did you move the needle up? Are you still running that POS stock air filter? Edited September 23, 2006 by Justintoxicated Quote
olmick Posted September 25, 2006 Author Report Posted September 25, 2006 it has k&n pods, 320 main jet, and its just a lil rich, and oh yeah i guess since i have 30 some post means im a 15 year old kid and i havent ridden anything with any power , i did however this weekend put on a timing plate (+4) and a 15t sprocket and i finally did pull the raptor and now im up with the baja through the gears Quote
the skin doctor Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 i have a set of brand new toomey needles used for 10 mins ill sell you 35 shipped brand new they are 50 not shipped. not bent either, trinity fuck me over. do those t5's make a big difference? i just bought a 1995 banshee and all i have are fatty silencers with factory pipes.i was told by the guy at the machine shop i should get t5's Quote
Animalman294 Posted September 25, 2006 Report Posted September 25, 2006 It really depends on what you plan on doing with the shee. I have T-5's and will be running them for a while. I like them so far, and have been running them for a few years now. If you are in the market for new pipes, Shearers, or CPI's are what a lot of people run on their rides........... Quote
Blue Duece Posted September 26, 2006 Report Posted September 26, 2006 you do need to gear it taller, pipes will pull a fifteen all day long, id try a 16 for shits and grins if your racing on pavement with a 16 you'll smoke your pals raptor Quote
