Turbo on a shee

Hey whats up i want to start to rebuild my motor and set it up for some jucie or boost. i have done some looking but haven't seen anything on a 2 stroke or any quad with turbo. any info will help.

Yes its possible, and it has been done, but its not cost effective. For the price, a set of cheetah (cub or regular) cylinders would be a better deal, and plenty of power.

Planet Sand is another god resource. There are a few guys over there that are running turbos. :baseball_mitt:

Whitey from here on HQ I belive is getting closer to having his turbo set up complete... I have also seen sever complete setups on ebay for 2-3 grand.. That s engine, pipes, turbo ect.. From what I hear they are pretty hard to setup correctly but if you do get it set up.. LOOKOUT

im not nececerly recommending going through these guys (I just dont like them....long story) Anyway they are in my area and I know they are pretty into turbos http://www.trickracing1.com/home.html

thanks you guys have been a lot of help. i know a lot about turbos. i had a 9sec dsm awd turbo and loved it. i am going to make some phone calles adn see what they say and what they come up with.i am going to do all the work myself so that is not that bad. but 2-3g's for all that is nuts for quads. and that vid is sick.

It really sounds like you don't know enough about turbos or engines for that matter, to be trying this yourself. There is a reason that you don't see alot of guys out there racing turbo charged two strokes. Just watch out and do your research first. :baseball_mitt:

i like your project keep it up looks nice. and what are you running for a turbo? looks like a t25 from a eclipse or a audi.

 

well it looks like i am going to be rebuilding my motor anyway now. i wenty ridin today and one of my carbs got stuck wide open. adn from that time till i shut it off with in like 2-3 sec my piston rings let go on the right side to. but looks like i will have to turbo it later when it is running again.

Cubshee has one...just saw his motor and turbo on his bench yesterday...

Now, if he every puts it back together, that's another story!!

I've seen a few Banshee Turbos in Glamis but they were all on Streetbike engines.
