I used to really like old iron . Just remember if you park outside the bar cops will remember your car and most people dont care enough about their own stuff not to sling their own car door into yours in a parking lot.

thanks for the coments and yeah whenever i park it i always steer towards the far away and not very populated parts of the parking lots and for the bar thing not old enough yet anyways but the cop thing is true the cops were watchin me pretty close last night

Nice. It is always great to see another Chevelle lover.

I almost got a '66, but then decided to go for '67. I just like the subtle differences more.

I have a fairly stock 396 with a T-400.

Be careful, just like your Banshee, these things will devour your money supply. Perhaps even more vigorously. It has with me anyway.

Here is my first time at the strip ever. Enjoy.

My best so far is 8.7 @ 81 mph on the 1/8, which is roughly equivalent to 13.5 in the 1/4. That's not too bad for a 40 year old engine with pretty minor modifications. It is certainly faster than a lot of other cars out there, like new Mustang Gt's and even that Dodge SRT-10 truck.

Anyway, going to the strip compelled me to start saving for an engine rebuild. Next summer means 500+ cubic inches and around 600 horsepower.

Hit me up if you want to talk about anything!

Very nice ride!!! I'm a big believer in the "don't crush'em, restore'em" quote from speedvision. I've been going to car cruises for years and almost always appreciate the old muscle over the new; numbers matching or not. Enjoy her, show'er off and be safe. Good luck!
