rtg_61184 Posted August 5, 2006 Report Posted August 5, 2006 what did you guys do with the warning lables. on the 06 they're riveted on and recessed in the plastic. if you take them off youll have holes and empty squares. i was thinking about machining some custom alum plates or something to replace them. dajogejr Posted August 6, 2006 Report Posted August 6, 2006 Friend of mine has a 400EX, he drilled out the rivets, cut a piece of diamond plate (the kind used for toolboxes in your truck bed, etc.) and riveted that in place. Doesn't look half bad at all...(For a Honda, of course...) Quote
SandShots Posted August 30, 2006 Report Posted August 30, 2006 IMO the best thing to do is drill them out and leave the fenders plain with no replacement plates and no stickers. yes the holes and the recessed rectangles will be there but hardly noticealble because the whole fender is the same color. The one on my front finder has the TLD Flaming Carb sticker, 720R, and my user name on bluetraxx.com (03LimitedEditionRaptor). It has the clear resen applied over the graphics so they wont peal off. He can aslo make custom number plates too. He cuts his own decals out. So you can pick some colors. Quote

I just drew a picture of how I wanted it layed out. I mailed him the TLD Flaming carb decal and the drawing how I wanted it layed out. He made the 720r, and the user name.
